Cheryl walked a reasonable distance from the building before stopping to wait for Theo.

Having found out the history between the two, she knew there might be a fight if they happened to come across each other and was in no condition to separate them.

A while later, theo's car pulled up in front of her. Theo came out and turned around to open the door for her.

Cheryl noticed that he looked tired, like he hadn't had any sleep in days. She knew it was because of Her. Guilt washed over her. She mumbled a 'thank you' as she entered the car.

He did not pick a fancy restaurant this time. He went somewhere quiet and less crowded. How thoughtful of him.

They found a place in the corner with barely a few people in sight. They sat on a bench and Theo wrapped his arms around her and rested his head on her shoulder.

Cheryl didn't ask questions and just relished in the closeness they shared.

"I'm sorry love. I really am."
