The rest of the days that followed went by uneventful and quickly. Cheryl experienced a few days of peace and quiet.

She and Theo kept in touch: he made sure of that and it brought them a little more closer than they were before.

Theo still expressed his displeasure with her working for his rival company but she assured and reassured him that there was nothing to worry about.

The day finally came when Cheryl left her house for the office. It was 8 am and it was already bustling and although nervous, she was excited. She was eager to begin and prayed earnestly that she get her desired mentor, Mr Pazo Domino. He was a renowned food writer, a columnist for the National Food Institute, a renowned food critic for the BusinessMirror and chef in the country and was known to be a hard-nosed boss.

Upon arrival, she went straight to the reception and informed the receptionist about who she was.

"I'm Cheryl Johnson, I have a meeting with Miss Rose?"
