Chapter 60

LUCAS POV

I jolted awake when I felt the cold liquid on my face. I tried to move but realized I was tied to a chair. I slowly tried to open my eyes, and they slowly adjusted to the dark room. I could see two figures standing in front of me. One of them was holding a machete. The other one was holding a gun. I couldn't make out who it was, but I knew it was one of them that tied me up.

"Wakey, Wakey." One of the figures whispered into my ear. I couldn't understand the voice at first, but it soon registered. "Ava!"

"Yes baby it's me." She said as she untied the knot around my wrists.

"It's time to wake up and open your eyes. I'm tired of waiting." She said as she untied the knot around my legs.

"Where am I?" I asked.

"Does it really matter? You're gonna die anyway.".

How did I get here? The last thing I remembered was getting into a car with Tony.
