SOPHIA'S POV

My face fell as soon as Thomas broke the news to me. How would I have forgotten that Ricardo and I are still married in the court of law? But that wasn't my main concern, my main concern is how to get my children away from this bastard.

Separations doesn't equate to divorce and I have forgotten about it since I was so focus to get the children I never thought about it.

I stared at Thomas and he returned the stare at me.

"I don't think there is anyway I can help you both until you get a divorce, It won't be possible to push for the child custody unless…" Thomas trailed off and I swallowed, hope blooming in my heart.

"Unless what Thomas?" I asked and he sighed.

"It's not a good idea, Sophia" he said. I was about to ask him what it was when I saw the look in his eyes, I knew something was up and decided to ask him later when we leave here.
