Sophia nodded. "I'm a bit shaken up but I'll be Okay."

Lucas Drew her in and rested her head on his chest, caressing her hair softly. "it's alright, you did what you had to do. They deserve what they're getting"

" I know Lucas, I just hope all of this will be over soon so we can live a peaceful ,quiet life"

"it will be over, and our children will have a chance to be happy with both their parents. talking about our kids, how's my little baby doing?" he asked placing a hand on Sophia's belly.

"the baby's fine" she replied with a smile.

"you're glowing soph, I look forward to seeing you like this everyday for the rest of our lives" Lucas said planting a kiss on her forehead.

Sophie held tight to Lucas, enjoying the warmth and solace she felt.

"so, what's the next step?" Lucas asked
