THIRD PERSON'S POV

The smell of something delicious filled the nose of Gabe the moment he stepped into the house. He snorted and scowled knowing it was Sophia preparing something to welcome him. 'what a dummy' he thought.

He cleared his throat and put on his act. "What is this pleasant smell serenading my nose?" he asked announcing his presence as he made his way to the kitchen.

"Ahhhhh!" Sophia screamed excitedly, hugging him tightly. "You're back? I thought it would be till in the evening."

"Well I just missed you too much. I had to rush through what I had left to come right back. plus I couldn't wait to give you the surprise I had planned."

'Surprise huh? after I get evidence against you, let's see who gets surprise'

"You and your surprise. Can I hear about it now?" She asked, feigning a smile.

"Not yet! Maybe after I take my bath and eat whatever sumptuous meal you are preparing. Then I'll tell you."
