Upon getting back to the house, Sophia ignored the still sleeping Dory and went straight to her room. She shut the door behind her and sunk to the ground. Her heart was heavy. The discoveries she was making were troubling, to say the least.

'Oh God…" she whispered holding unto her chest. Her breathing was heavy and forced. it felt as though the room was spinning; like she was suffocating. She wanted to scream out, maybe it would at least ease the pain she was feeling. Instead, she covered her mouth. The tears she had been holding back finally released themselves, running down her face.

Her sobs were heavy and deep, it shook her entire frame. She lay curled up on the floor wishing it was all a bad dream. That she'd just wake up and her mother wouldn't be dead. They'd be back to the happy family they once were, eating and laughing over dinner. But she knew it was only a wish.
