All through the drive him, Cheryl was in a daze. Her mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Johnny and the incident. She couldn't get what Victor told her off her mind. She should alert the police, right? But would they believe her? Everyone thought the fire was an accidental one. There was nothing she could do.

Her head started to hurt from overthinking the situation but what could she do? She rest her head on her hand and prayed things would turn out okay.

When she got home, she sensed there was something wrong. They all knew she was coming home today. Usually her father and Zoey would be waiting for her by the gate but there was no sign of them.

Cheryl let out a sigh. Her heart sank. Something was definitely wrong. She shrugged off the feeling as she went inside to check in her father's study room but no one was there .

Where could they possibly be? She thought as she made her way to their room.
