The few who knew about Victor and Theo's rilvary which was caused by Emma, kept quiet.

Victor walked in just In time and those who were aware of their enmity became nervous but Theo and Cheryl who had grown accustomed to his presence did not feel awkward.

When Victor saw Cheryl, his heart clenched. Yes he had accepted she wasn't for him and had given up his desires but that did not change his feelings for her. He forced out a smile and greeted them.
