Chapter 104

Cheryl walked weakly towards her bed.

Her knees wobbled beneath her.

Cheryl sat on the bed with difficulty.

She was exhausted from all the crying but that did not stop the tears from pouring out .

She took deep breaths as she lay down on the soft cushions.

She stared at the ceiling.

Fresh tears sprang to her eyes when she remembered how lost and hurt Theo looked when she left his place.

*Flashback*

"Here, I found a way we can get rid of Victor without you marrying him."

"What is this?" she asked.

"It's a merger. Let's merge your company and mine. That way when Victor pulls out from the project, it won't affect it that much. I'll put in all my money if I have to. You can even be the CEO. I don't care. I just want you to end this."

Cheryl's heart bled. She was overwhelmed by how much Theo was willing to give and do just to have her.

He had always supported her in all her endeavors.

Why was she acting so self-centered and irresponsible?
