Chapter 0033

The Fruit had the shape of a Sacred lotus. It had multicolored petals and a white ball on top of it.

While the link was being made, various light particles got emitted by the Fruit, and the missing tissues began to recover, my body began to recover.

The Fruit comes near my head, it shrinks its size and goes inside.

A mark was made on my forehead, both in my original body and replica, but it disappeared as soon as it was made.

The mark was like a small black lotus in my forehead.

It created what the elves called the spiritual sea inside my body. The Fruit would reside there.

One spiritual sea was created for both bodies. So, the Fruit now belongs to both of my bodies, not just one. I could summon the Fruit within my hands anytime I wanted, and when I called it, the mark would reappear on my forehead.

The only change my body went through was it became a normal body rather than an immortal one, and there was no improvement at all. The elf king said the Fruit needed to be supplied with energy, so I tried to pour some of my mana on it. Still, there was no difference it was like taking out my mana and just absorbing it with no change at all, I had no idea how to use the Fruit's abilities or know even what it could do.

It was a disappointment.

I just relaxed in the bed for a moment.

It was now time to collect some information.

But the surveillance was no joke. I could feel two high elves in front of my door, nearly ten guards escorting the place.

Then I used my senses to scout around the whole palace and search for the place with the least guards.

I could feel open land beneath the palace.

There was no presence of life over there.

Maybe be its secret room made by one of the previous kings? Perhaps it holds some sort of secret about the elves? No, the king would not have left the room unguarded if it contains any valuable information or item. But does the king even know about that room? The room was well hidden, but the kings' senses were comparable to my own, and I was able to find it pretty quickly, so there was no way the king would not have noticed. Could it just be an empty room? NO, it gives some sort of similar feeling, it can't just be any ordinary room.

Curiosity was consuming me; I had to leave this room and go there.

What if it's a trap? Who cares if it's a trap?

The king had covered the entire palace with barriers that made the use of spatial Magic impossible. If his own spatial Magic was less potent than mine, I could have simply used my Magic undetected, but his spatial Magic was more potent then mine, hence blocking me from using my spatial Magic.

Well, he was more than a million years old, of course, his Magic would be more potent than mine, I was born just two years ago.

I waited until it was night time.

The elves were asleep, but there were still plenty of night guards around the palace.

I used the window to get out.

It was night time, but the city was still bright, but it was dark inside the palace.

It seemed like not many people lived in this palace.

Using my stealth, I could hide within the dark completely.

There were guards in the way, but I could get past them hiding within the shadows.

I could feel the hollow ground beneath, but there was no way to enter there, seems like there was no secret path to enter it.

SO, I just made it, I could control the soil, so I created a hole to go down.

I went down, there was a hollow path, I followed the track, there was a gate.

Ahh, I see, so this is why the elf king could not enter inside the room.

The door was covered in a seal made with darkness attribute; I could feel the malice with which it was made.

The elf king had a light attribute, so he could not enter through it, and if he had tried to purify it, the seal would get broken, taking down the entire palace with it, so he seems to have just ignored it.

I was able to pass right through the door, it was not very difficult as I was someone with darkness.

Inside was a big room, there were many treasures inside it, but all of it seemed cursed.

Suddenly I felt a burning sensation within my body, I backed a few steps, nothing had happened it lasted just for a moment, but it seems to have come from the coffin placed in the middle.

It was emitting holy light hazardous for a darkness attribute user like me.

I could not get near it but used telekinesis to open the coffin.

There was a body of a high elf.

I could not measure how old it was, but I knew it had died many years ago, but still, its body had not rotted.

The body was near 6'5'' tall and had very muscular hands and legs.

I could not use necromancy on it as it was emitting such holy power even after death.

I wanted to inspect its body and find out why it was emitting such power, but as soon as I tried to touch it, my fingers would burn until only the bones remained.

But suddenly the mark appeared on my forehead, the flower emerged and went near the body.

[Would you like to feed the High Elf Cells to the Fruit?]

"What?"

I was surprised to see the thing that the fruit feed on was dead cells. I was excited to see what result it would give after consuming the cells.

"Yes"

The Fruit suddenly started to grow roots; the roots surrounded the body, slowly consuming the cells.
