It was in the middle of summer. The research room had an air-conditioning system so it wasn't hot.
But now, there were no other humans left on Earth.
This allowed Shawn to indulge in the most primitive pleasure of humanity, the freedom of being naked.
Even when there had been people around, he already had this strange sentiment.
Seeing that the computer was still computing the data, Shawn grew bored and started dancing again.
"I'm starting to like Ball Owner's dance."
"I want to remind him that he'll look better in his clothes."
"Even if he's fit, don't be so cocky. Billions of women are watching..."
"I want to give Ball Owner a monkey..."
"F*ck... What is this movement? How is his waist so strong?"
As Shawn danced, his feet seemed to take root in the ground. Suddenly, he leaned back, his hair touched the ground but he could easily come back up again.
"Eh, strange?"
Shawn muttered and looked at the bottle of beans on the computer desk. He was a little uncertain.
"Ding... Mr. Shawn, data processing had been completed."
The computer prompted and the voice was that of a woman's.
"Impressive. The data processor had even included a voice prompt and the voice doesn't sound mechanical at all."
He looked at the blueprint of the planetary engine. It was finally complete.
The next step was to build it.
However, this was no a simple mobile phone production that only needed a dust-free workshop.
It required some extremely sophisticated technology.
Since there was no one else around, he could only adopt the model of a smart factory.
This required two problems to be solved.
The first was the problem of location.
According to the calculations, this massive engine had a diameter of 30 kilometers.
In order to facilitate construction and reduce damage, the best locations were the seaside or the desert.
The closest desert to Hawaii was over 1,000 kilometers away.
There were many points of interest in the sea of Hawaii but most of them would be destroyed in the process.
Seawater could be used for efficient cooling.
The core reactor of the planetary engine had a soaring temperature of 10 billion degrees Celsius and although there would be electromagnetic constraints, thermal radiation would still exist.
Due to the high temperatures, this didn't give Shawn much choice.
That would destroy the entire ecological balance. Before the machine was completed, a big climate could happen and manufacturing would not be sustainable.
He began to study engineering books and obtained enough knowledge about engineering concerning hydraulics.
Of course, this knowledge was not enough for him to build a complete facility but it was enough for him to choose a suitable location for the planetary engine.
The second problem in building the planetary engine was the smart factory.
Even if all the people of Earth had not left the planet, it would still be impossible to build the planetary engine.
It took more than ten years to build a super spaceship and that had been possible through the collaboration of all the scientific research teams from every country.
A conservative estimate was that more than 100,000 scientific research teams were involved in the design of a super spaceship and each team would have no less than 100 people.
That was only the preliminary design stage. The manual labor involved in the later stages would have been more than billions of civilians.
Many people even died during the experiment. A conservative estimate was that it had cost hundreds of millions of people to complete the building of those super spaceships.
It could be said that the super spaceships had been built through the power of humans from the entire world.
As it stood, Shawn was the only person left on Earth.
In a year, there would be a solar storm. The Sun might even suddenly turn into a red giant planet, swallowing everything in its path. Every inch of space it occupied would have problems.
After calculating the time it took for preparation and experimentation, Shawn had only about four months left.
A single ten-year super project had involved billions of people.
He was the only person here. He had only four months to build an engine that was far more complex than a super spaceship.
He had to modify the production, completely automate the system, and achieve a fully automated, intelligent assembly line.
With so many obstacles, even with his super learning ability, Shawn still felt that time was tight. He felt extremely pressured. This was an almost impossible feat.
Japan's biggest financial magnate, Goro Yamamoto, controlled many technology companies, media companies, and also controlled part of Japan's intelligence resources.
A tall man stood opposite Goro Yamamoto and said in a low voice, "Mr. Yamamoto, Mr. Saburo needs your intelligence support for this rescue operation," the man said straightforwardly.
"Ah, it's such an honor to have the prime minister pay attention to me," Yamamoto said as he shook the wine glass in his hand.
The wine in his hand was a deep blood red and contained some hallucinogenic drug. After taking a sip, he felt as if he had taken the elixir of life.
However, his brain did not stop working. After hearing the man's words, he said lightly, "Are you sure that you're going to help with the rescue and not kidnap him to our own country or for any other purpose, Mister Prime Minister?"
The tall man smiled and said, "As expected, nothing can be hidden from you. I can see why the Prime Minister values you so much." The man beamed as he said, "The Prime Minister, Mr. Saburo, told me if there's anything you need, you can ask me directly."
Yamamoto Goro took a sip of the blood-red wine and looked at Shawn on the screen.
"I have a network of intelligence analysis that spans several continents but you can only peruse it while in here. Also, you must promise not to leak a word to the public. Let the Prime Minister know."
"You know, this is a warning. If anything is leaked, I can't guarantee that you won't face severe consequences. I'm not bullsh*iting you."
The man humbly replied, "Thank you, Mr. Yamamoto. Japan is really blessed to have you. Now we are more confident in carrying out our plan."
Goro Yamamoto took a tablet and slid it across the long table. It landed in the hands of the bald man in black.
The man held the tablet and looked through the information excitedly.
"Yes!"
The man's hands trembled. Within the top-secret information were all the details of Shawn's life when he went missing.
If it had been an ordinary person, this information would have been insignificant.
Shawn was a man of global concern though.
There were many countries that had the same sentiment as Japan.
The more they knew about Shawn's past, the more precious it became.
The information within this document even contained how Shawn ended up in China.
"My God, the cruise ship sank and he washed ashore in China?"
"Mr. Shawn is really lucky."
Yamamoto Goro said, "However, our Mr. Shawn seems to have suffered from memory loss during those ten years."
"Also, his head was struck by lightning, that was how he lost his memory."
The man's entire body trembled when he heard that.
Could it be that the lightning strike had enlightened Shawn? Is that why he is so awesome?
Goro Yamamoto took another big gulp of wine. He looked a little drunk.
He could not speak clearly. "Also, I suspect that Mr. Shawn has a strong sense of paranoia. When he trades in the stock market, his methods were often unorthodox. He often surpasses ordinary people's techniques and moved unhindered in the stock market.
"According to our scientific analysis, ordinary people would not have done what he did. Only people with paranoia would do this."
"After all, if there is a piece of gold and a piece of sesame seed on the ground, I guess a normal person would choose gold but I think Mr. Shawn might choose the sesame seed."
"The person who chose the gold might have met a thief on their way home and ended up with nothing."
