Invisible_Chicken2: "What wishes would you make if you were given a chance to reincarnate?"
Very late at night.
A group of three was still chatting on a discord gaming channel when a user asked.
PotatoBoomer: "You mean the three wishes trope with God and everything?"
Someone asked curiously.
Invisible_Chicken2: "Yup."
The first speaker returned.
XXHeavenlyfireXX: "What kind of world, though?"
Another member asked for clarification.
Invisible_Chicken2: "Oh, the classic sword and magic or Isekai if you prefer."
The person who first spoke answered.
PotatoBoomer: "Can it be modern with guns?"
One added.
Invisible_Chicken2: "Why not. It can also be GameLit, LitRPG, or VRMMO. Whatever name you like using best."
He answered.
PotatoBoomer: "Let me think a bit."
His interlocutor replied and stopped his typing.
XXHeavenlyfireXX: "Meh, too tired for this shit. Going to bed now."
The third-party announced nonchalantly.
Invisible_Chicken2: "Good night, homie."
PotatoBoomer: "Laters."
The other two said. After that member disconnected, the other night owls continued n private.
They were soon joined five minutes later, however, when a different user logged in.
ShadowSyrup: "Wassup, guys?"
The newcomer asked.
PotatoBoomer: "Hey, Leandro."
PotatoBoomer: "How you doing?"
Invisible_Chicken2: "Nothing much, the usual."
Invisible_Chicken2: "Coming back from work?"
The members familiarly welcomed the latecomer with their own questions.
ShadowSyrup: "Yeah, you know how it is..."
The newcomer replied.
Invisible_Chicken2: "Commissioner Karen pick on you again, huh?"
The same person asked again.
PotatoBoomer: "You don't need to use Karen and commissioner in the same sentence."
The third member noticed the oddity and said.
Invisible_Chicken2: "No, that's her name."
A reply came quickly.
PotatoBoomer: "Commissioner?"
PotatoBoomer: "How is that a first name?"
He felt odd and remarked.
ShadowSyrup: "She's called Karen, literally, haha."
PotatoBoomer: "Oh."
Invisible_Chicken2: "Yeah, that's why we had to find a nickname."
PotatoBoomer: "Lol."
The group continued to joke until they came back to the previous topic.
ShadowSyrup: "I think I'd go with a system."
The newcomer chose.
PotatoBoomer: "You can't go wrong with systems, I guess."
One commented.
Invisible_Chicken2: "Meh, that's boring."
The other member thought and expressed.
ShadowSyrup: "Who cares if it's efficient?"
The newcomer asked.
Invisible_Chicken2: "True, What kind of system?"
His friend observed.
ShadowSyrup: "Just one to balance my weaknesses."
He answered modestly.
PotatoBoomer: "Never heard of that one. Do you get skills and perks as well? Or a shop?"
The other asked.
ShadowSyrup: "Nope, I wouldn't want to go on missions and shit. Living systems tend to get in the way and everything."
ShadowSyrup: "The mechanics are a bit special. It would only balance and remove the weakness of skills and items."
The newcomer elaborated on the conditions.
Invisible_Chicken2: "Nothing else!!?"
The member who stayed silent finally exclaimed.
PotatoBoomer: "Lmao...Here we go."
ShadowSyrup: "Yeah, why?"
The newcomer asked curiously.
Invisible_Chicken2: "That's so like you. It's not bad, but is that the best you could think of?"
His interlocutor observed and demanded.
ShadowSyrup: "As long as I have fun. *Happy-blush Emoji*."
Invisible_Chicken2: "Fun over life, huh?"
The member felt irritated and asked.
ShadowSyrup: "It's not that bad, man."
The previous speaker said.
Invisible_Chicken2: "It is!"
The other person burst out.
ShadowSyrup: "What's it to you? Think of anything better?"
The newcomer asked again.
PotatoBoomer: "Welp, I'm out."
The person who seemed to care less announced before logging off.
After that person left the chat in silence, the two other members argued for another hour on a list of potential wishes and skills.
The insults on the imbecility of systems, quests, and the divine rained until someone they didn't expect logged in.
Someone who usually slept early and that the two comrades traditionally identified as "Supreme_Daoist."
This member usually preferred to observe or post memes. Still, they would soon understand why he had shown up and just how they had offended him.
