Arrays
An array was a realm of magic that lay beyond the grasp of ordinary sorcerers.
It demanded not only immense magical prowess and arcane knowledge but also sacrifices of great magnitude. The secrets of array construction were rare, guarded by a select few who delved into the darkest corners of the mystical arts.
Hundreds of types were said to exist in the past. However, in the present era, only a mere handful remained. Eve, drawing from her extensive knowledge of ancient texts in her past life, was familiar with five of these extraordinary arrays, each with its own unique requirements and consequences.
First was the Bloodbound Array. This array had been whispered in hushed tones among sorcerers and harnessed to the primal life force contained within the blood. This array demanded the sacrifice of blood, whether it flowed from the veins of the array's creator or willing participants or animals.
