Wishful Thinking

Demyan

The flight back to London was not as long as when we originally flew to Monaco. Yet you could tell everyone was tired as we constantly fell into mini naps. Oksana had stayed behind with Aunt Amanda as they would be taking the short helicopter ride to Genoa. I knew once she saw Delunca's and Olga's baby there was a very slim chance that she would want to come home during winter break.

"Do you mind dropping me off at Nicole's?" Malia asked me just before we landed.

I raised my eyebrows in surprise, "Aren't we going to Russia in two days?"

She nodded with a shy expression, "I think I would like to stay with her for a few days, you know, just to clear my head. I think we need a little space after this weekend."
