I'm Still a Baby

Demyan

When I entered the hospital, I immediately ran to the receptionist desk to ask where causality was. It was not too hard to follow it with her instructions plus Pa's platinum blonde hair in the waiting area stood out like a beckon amongst everything else.

"Demyan," Pa hugged me quickly.

"Where's Malia?"

"Your Dad and Nika are with her. She hasn't been up for long so the doctor is going to check up on her soon," he explained, "You look like a bloody mess."

"I know," I frowned. At least in the plane I had managed to brush my teeth and my face. My hair was more tangled than I thought which almost made it look like a bird's nest. My eyes were bloodshot from two hours of sleep and the bags under my eyes made me look like a zombie.

Eventually Dad walked in with a deep scowl on his face when he saw me, "And what the hell were you thinking sneaking out at midnight to go clubbing with your sister?"
