Dream Of Me

Demyan

I wrapped my jacket tightly around me as I stepped out of the cabin dressed in my pyjama pants with no underwear, bare chested and simple slippers. The garage lights were on and I could hear rustling from inside followed by a few thuds and plenty of 'ow's.

I had to press my lips together to suppress my giggle as I walked down the porch stairs then walked to the garage. We had to call over Gabby and Anna who slept in the guest bedroom close to the children in case they needed anything whilst we were out.

At that point I myself was not sure what to expect as I saw Ethan hunched at the back of his Everest as he strung fairy lights from one end to the other at the back of the car with the seats dropped down. I could see a steel bucket filled with ice and a bottle of champagne then a small lunch bag and his laptop as well.

There were pillows and blankets spread all around making the space with rough edges comfortable and soft.
