Morgan Lloyd

Thomas finally met Iris, the woman who led a jet-black horse, followed by Litzy who turned back into a mouse and approached and climbed on top of Thomas's head.

"Are you done?" Iris asked and sat down next to Thomas, the boy nodded while showing off his shopping bag.

"I already know where that person is," Iris said, taking Thomas's groceries and putting them in her magic pouch, making that disappear. Thomas chuckled in admiration, then put on the shoes Iris had just bought.

"Come on."

Iris carried Thomas on with her, the black horse was very dashing. Once he raced, he immediately galloped. The black horse galloped out of the northern region, further into the forest.

"Didn't you say that person was in the northern region's cave?" Thomas asked, slightly concerned about their position.

"I have a bad memory, after all, it was hundreds of years ago," said Iris, Thomas didn't reply again, he just sat quietly.

They crossed the thick pine forest, deep into the woods. The air was colder and humid, Iris slowed her horse, as the road passed through thick shrubs and steep rocks. Feeling the road impassable, Iris dismounted, leading her horse, while Thomas remained motionless.

"Iris," Thomas said quietly after they had been silent for a long time.

"Yes?"

"Don't you have that ... broomstick ... spellbook or wand?" He asked curiously, Iris laughed softly.

Thomas reads a book in the royal library, Thomas is eager to have a magical object. Whether they have one or all three, they are truly said to be strong, but Thomas has never seen Iris possess any of the three objects.

"I used to have them ... Tommy, but they all fell to pieces," said Iris.

"Destroyed for what?"

"I fought another Witch, she was very strong, I suffered defeat, and the three objects were crushed and thrown out of nowhere," Iris explained calmly, looking at Thomas' innocent face. But the look on her face became wary when she saw a large shadow behind Thomas.

What's that?

It happened so fast, the shadow jumped at Thomas, intending to pounce on him.

"Tommy, watch out!" cried Iris, behind Thomas, the shadow turned into a very large black wolf figure, its mouth wide open, showing its fangs.

Thomas felt his body being pulled tight by Iris. His body limply fell to the ground, and Iris' black horse neighed in fright.

"What happened?" Thomas asked confusedly, his body hitting the ground hard. The woman didn't answer, she stood in front of Thomas, protecting him.

The black wolf growled, showing its canines and drooling saliva, walking slowly around Iris and Thomas, stalking prey. Iris was wary, her hands ready to cast a spell.

"Scanisandentios!"

A root appeared and ensnared the wolf. The wolf revolted and howled loudly, from every corner of the forest, black shadows sprang up around Iris and Thomas.

Thomas stood up and took the wood to protect himself, Litzy turned back into a fierce barking dog. They were surrounded by dozens of wolves.

The roots that appeared due to Iris' magic were easily crushed by the black wolves. They charged forward.

Thomas never knew werewolves could attack other races. All he knew was that they had a law not to attack each other, they weren't the werewolves he knew.

"Ursiloxus!" Iris shouted.

In an instant, Litzy turned into a big bear, she screamed, shaking the forest. The black wolf pounced on Litzy, they scratched each other, bit, and wrestled.

Iris jumped to avoid being attacked by another wolf, from one place to another, her movements were light and agile, and the woman threw something on the ground, a black powder.

"Axiolus!"

Suddenly, the little ants on the ground grew bigger, hissing to prevent the wolves from reaching Iris, they acted as protectors of Iris.

Thomas backed away, his distance away from Iris. In the past, he had easily defeated the wolves, but now he was overwhelmed by three wolves at once, just relying on a wooden stick.

"CRACK!"

The wooden stick ended up in the brown wolf's mouth, shattered into pieces by its sharp teeth, Thomas backed away, but unexpectedly, another wolf quickly bit into his arm.

Thomas grimaced, fresh blood seeping through his white shirt, the wolf didn't intend to let go of its bite, it just dragged Thomas away.

"Tommy!" Iris screamed in panic, she was overwhelmed, the giant ants weren't much help, and the wolves easily tore her apart.

Iris glanced at Litzy who was still fighting with the big black wolf, the woman screamed and chanted again, and a booming sound suddenly sounded, and Litzy turned into a big snake and coiled tightly.

"Let him go! Otherwise, I'll crush this wolf!" Iris shouted, and the wolves stopped their movements, looking at each other.

The atmosphere became tense, and Litzy tightened the knot, even more, making the black wolf let out a groan.

"Let him go," someone said from behind Iris, the woman was petite with pale blonde hair, and she only wore makeshift clothes covering her body.

The wolves slowly turned into humans, including those in Litzy's arms.

"You're a witch," the woman continued, looking at Iris curiously. "What are you doing in this place?"

"I just happened to be passing by," said Iris, fixing her clothes, glancing at Thomas, who was being carried by a brown-haired boy, the boy didn't speak, but his face was white as paper.

"We can't just believe it."

"Iris, my name is Amara Iris." Iris took the initiative to introduce herself. The woman smiled faintly.

"I'm Alena. We're from the Red Moon pack." Alena looked at Iris with her sharp eyes, demanding Iris' statement.

"We're looking for someone named Minu," Iris said, in the end, she couldn't keep her destination a secret from them.

"To save him," continued Iris again, Alena nodded in understanding, then glanced at Thomas for a moment.

"We apologize for our actions, the situation in the pack is not conducive. Come with us for a moment. We will treat the wound, after that, you can leave." Alena kindly invited Iris to follow her, the previously tense atmosphere relaxed a bit.

Iris let them treat Thomas, who was unconscious when she arrived at the werewolf settlement.

The werewolf settlement was located in the middle of the pine forest, the big wooden houses stood firmly.

Iris is currently on the terrace of Alena's house, she is having a serious conversation with the werewolf.

"I can only make this," said Alena softly, placing two cups of tea in front of them.

"Do you know where Minu is?" Iris asked matter-of-factly, stirring the deep spoon of tea. Alena smiled and shook her head.

"Rumors are circulating that he does exist in the southern region, but only our alpha knows."

"Where's your alpha?"

"He's taking care of some rebel wolves. Maybe he'll be back tomorrow, you can rest here for the night."

Iris nodded, feeling that it was a good idea, especially for Thomas, who was injured.

"I met another werewolf in the north, he's from the Blue Moon pack, his name is Morgan, Morgan Lloyd. Do you know him?"

Alena was stunned and put down the cup with trembling hands, her face turning deathly pale.

"You met him?"

"Yes, I met him. What's wrong?"

"I said earlier that the condition of the pack was not conducive. It was because, in the last few months, several packs were slaughtered in one night."

"Is the Blue Moon pack one of them?"

"Yes, one of them." Alena intertwined her fingers, "He was the one who slaughtered his pack. That person is Morgan Lloyd."
