Poisoned To Death??

Just like the young lad had told her, there was a dark RV car which waited at the parking lot.

Glancing around alarmingly to confirm that she was in no sort of danger, she slowly made her way to the car and its door opened up slowly, even before she got close to it.

"Did Lord Xander send you over?"

The middle aged man in uniform questioned coldly, leading Anxi's feet to come to a sudden halt.

She couldn't recall if he ever mentioned his name to her but judging from his looks, as well as his style of dressing and overbearing aura, she didn't need any more information to realize he was someone important so it had to be him.

"Yes."

"Get in young miss." He politely said, the initial coldness now gone.

Anxi hesitantly got into the car, wrapping herself against the jacket which covered her frail body, shielding her from the cold night.

She quietly sat on the back seat and the car's engine immediately roared to life and soon, they were off, driving into the dazzling street.

She stared at the glowing city through the window, everything looked explicit and well developed, the city was bustling with so much light and fireworks so one would barely be able to feel the darkness of the night.

She couldn't help but stare in admiration at the beautiful city. It looked nothing like where she stayed before.

"Uhm sir." She finally spoke up, her tiny voice was like the softest tone so even the driver couldn't ignore her.

"Yes young miss?"

"I just want a little confirmation on something, what city is this called?" She asked, and the driver found her question to be a little weird which she had expected, who doesn't know of Yu City after all.

"It's Yu City."

"Yu City?"

The name indubitably triggered something deep within Anxi and memories which she wasn't typically sure of or familiar with started forming images on her little head.

The owner of this body, it was her memories and she was certain about it.

Her name was equally Anxi, she was a beautiful young lady who was spirited and had no issues with life, someone who just wanted to live a peaceful and simple life.

Her mom died after giving birth to her and she lost her dad three years after.

Anxi had been living with her grandmother since then, and it turns out the young lady was in need of a job but could barely get one since she had no connections.

Luckily she found a paying job in WBC company as a writer of the popular reality show.

Although she was paid, Anxi wasn't happy with her job at all.

Most of the workers there are into illegal behaviors which included blackmail, threats and whatsoever to the point it frightened her and realized the dirty tricks most top people do to earn money.

She had fortunately avoided every one of them until she was trapped when her job was put on the line.

Her manager had asked her, no not ask, threatened her to sleep with one of the top men in Yu City.

She didn't give her details on who the man was but directly told her it was necessary to do it if she wanted to work for them.

Anxi was left with no choice, she had only her grandmother as her surviving family to take care of and they needed shelter.

Losing her job would mean losing everything she had worked so hard to keep.

She agreed dejectedly to their heartless demand and dialed the contact of the person she was supposed to please.

Anxi's eyes widened at the sudden recollection of the main owner's past, was that how she strangely ended up in the hotel?

No, no she doesn't really understand the concept of it all. Well not until she remembers more.

"This is messed up." She whispered devastatingly to herself as the hapless notion crossed her mind.

But how come she's suddenly in the girl's body??

The very minute the girl arrived at the hotel, she got the room which he had booked for the both of them.

He texted he was going to arrive late so she had to wait for him, taking her time to get herself dressed in the sexy nightwear.

After a few hours of waiting, a waiter suddenly brought a glass of wine for her as special orders.

Anxi (The previous owner of the body) took a sip of the wine and didn't even realize when she had gulped down the whole content from the glass,

Only to rest back on the bed and felt a stabbing pain in her stomach like a knife being pierced and twisted into her system.

She let out a cry of agony and when she couldn't stand the torturing pain, she…..

Anxi instantly stopped herself from recollecting more, she didn't need anyone to tell her the aftermath of what she just saw.

Does that mean the real owner of this body was literally poisoned to death??

Someone made a plan to kill her?

But who??? And if she wasn't treated, how did she survive the pain after getting reincarnated to this body??

Her alarmed thoughts were disrupted when the car stopped in front of a small apartment.
