The last thing I expected was to end up in a conference with Ra, Odin and Zeus a few short minutes later, the rest of the Pantheons returning home after the lord of Egypt joined me to address them.
No one spoke as he descended, his sandaled feet silent on the stone stairs, his long, white robe trimmed in gold brushing the floor while he took his time, as though he had more than enough of it, to cross to me and embrace me, the master of Egypt engulfing me in his arms for a long, quiet moment while everyone stared and no one said a word.
When he gently released me, he smiled, arm still around my shoulders while he looked up with shining optimism lighting his beautiful face, the Sun God of Egypt speaking and no one able to deny his words even if they wanted to.
