Meeting the ORC was a trip in itself. Standing in the same room and talking to previously fictional characters was something else I'll have to add to my 'to-process' queue. While shaking Kiba's hand, and patting Koneko's head, I take the chance to apply my Binding to both of them. I got a warm smile, and a nod and sniff, in return respectively.

I kissed Akeno's hand to apply her Binding, cringe I know, but I got the whole 'Ara Ara' Onee-san act from her. They all looked about as I expect them to. Kiba is delicately handsome, Koneko is too adorable for words, and Akeno's breasts literally broke the laws of physics as I knew them. Like seriously, if this universe didn't run on ecchi physics, I doubt she would be able to walk without an old-person's walker.

Rias gives me the rundown on what being a devil entails complete with additions that weren't in the anime--like devils literally embodying sins and gaining power from them--and a briefing on the Evil Pieces system. The promotion to High-class devil is essential to some of my plans, and hopefully, Rias can help expedite the process. She mentions contracts and tells me I'll be expected to fulfill contracts to get stronger and bring prestige to the peerage.

Then she asks me what exactly I can do. I've never been one for keeping secrets from people that you'll have to trust in the future, so I tell them about everything except the Essences.

"I have a unique bloodline that ensures a certain level of perfection of the physical form, and that comes with a metaphysical connection to the Immaterium. The Immaterium is commonly called the Warp and is, in essence, the concept and force of Chaos. The Warp is full of energy that can be utilized for abilities that can be called magic. It's not magic as you probably know it, but it is essentially the same for my own purposes," I explain.

"And what are these abilities?" Akeno asks.

"You could call me a psychic. Telekinesis, Mind magics, biokinesis, divination and precognition, Warpfire. The possibilities are technically endless but accessing the Warp can also be dangerous. Chaos has a will and goals of its own. It can be seductive. Every time it's used it calls for the user to give in to the Warp, corrupting them into a living conduit for Chaos."

Kiba and Akeno looked at least mildly impressed. Rias looked concerned. Koneko, surprisingly, also looked concerned. Well, concerned while still putting on an impassive mask over the concern. Ah, the corruption of the Warp must remind her of senjutsu and her sister.

"Don't worry," I assured them. "The Warp is dangerous but I've developed techniques and safeguards that will prevent me from giving in to it. Also, my bloodline protects me. I mentioned the dangers more as a deterrent for other people who would want to access the Warp without taking those same precautions."

The others left for class not long after my explanation. Rias left me with instructions to stay in the clubroom unless summoned by a contract. Other than that she basically gave me free rein to do whatever I needed to. She said she'd talk to Sona about getting me enrolled so I'd probably only have this free time for today.
