The woman swung her scythe in a clockwork motion, side to side like a pendulum. She stood on the very top of the Big Ben that towered the city.

Her long, midnight black cape swept the iron rooftop. Her long black hair gently swayed in the summer night breeze. The blinding lights of the buildings and the honking cars were like mere toys from where she stood. She looked up at the night sky. No trace of stars nor constellations. Not a smoky cloud nor a splotch of light. Just an eternal pitch black void. No trace of nature. Except maybe for this inky river Thames beside the Palace of Westminster. The woman smirked, "How wretched. This place has been completely contaminated by the human touch".

The clock's bell rang resoundingly through the lively city. A tremendous chill crawled up her spine. "Looks like he's finally here." her lips curled into a crooked smile, "I've waited a lifetime for you, but I knew you'd come back. You'd come back to me." As the last bell rang, she raised her scythe to rest on her shoulder, its glimmering blade glittered like stars.

"Your time is finally up."
