There was a time when he had screamed and tried to explain himself, and yet, his father had not once believed him. Ever since then, Nicolai had stopped explaining himself, whether he was good or bad according to others, it didn't concern him.
Dominic clenched the papers in his hands. He came here believing that he had the upper hand, now he was forced to back down.
"There is one more thing that I wanted to say," Dominic spoke up as he dropped his hands to his side.
"And I am not interested in it," Nicolai retorted as he motioned for the man to leave. But Dominic did not leave, instead, he raised his head after releasing a deep breath and said, "I heard that you are chasing after a married woman."
Though he was unaware of the identity of the woman, Dominic knew what his son was doing these days.
Nicolai's expression contorted. He turned on his feet faster than anyone could have expected before striding towards where Dominic stood.
