As it turns out, even if a bear's nose is more sensitive than a dog's, once it becomes a magical beast, its traits are what matters. The brown bear lacks a tracking trait, making it much worse at tracking than the Land Dog.

Still, relying on its own sense of smell, the brown bear eventually managed to locate a team of goblins.

This team of goblins numbered twenty. Gazing at the sight, Du You hesitated a bit, but then gritted his teeth. "Let's fight," he said, already drawing his bow.

He had plenty of arrows in his quiver, many of which were left behind by goblin archers.

Arrows flew in succession, supplemented by his magic missiles. Du You alone was able to launch a barrage of ranged attacks. These goblins, though of the same level as him, were significantly weaker. Du You killed five of them in one wave of attack, using up a considerable amount of his magic power.
