Epic of Leviathan [REBOOT]

This is a Complete Re-Write of my original The Epic of Leviathan. You don't need to read the original one to read this. However, the story is going to be extremely different from the OG one. MC will have a different background and different powers. The CoverArt is provided by LordValmar and I really appreciate his help. This is a Fanfic... I don't own anything!!! All the characters except the MC and all the Worlds belong to their original owners ------------------------------------------------- A/N: First of all I want to declare that English is not my first language, so if you cannot overlook a few mistakes then this fanfic is not for you. I would have used the Neutral Evil tag if it was available, but it isn't. So, a fair warning, the MC will do pretty evil or Dark stuff. Don't complain in the Future. Last warning, in this fanfic some characters will have a different attitude from the canon or the original version so please note this warning before jumping into this. And finally, this is going to be a World Travel Fic... 1st World: My Hero Academia 2nd World: Yet to be Decided 3rd World: Yet to be Decided ------------------------------------------------- Thrust into a Fictional World, with no parents to support him. With enemies all around him, will he be able to survive, or will he be swept away? Will he be able to make a name for himself? Carve a place for himself in the cruel world or will he be remembered as nothing but a footnote in history? ------------------------------------------------- Discord Channel- https://discord.gg/zdUqAGKrkm

Politics Everywhere!!

I used to believe that I am more mature than other children, but I am starting to have some doubts. The head matron had asked me not to activate my Quirk until we could learn more about it. My Quirk was related to fire and if I wasn't careful, I could set the orphanage on fire by accident.

For a moment, I wanted to disregard her order, but I quickly discarded those thoughts… Yes, I really wanted to try out my Quirk, but not at the expense of the orphanage… Even though I wasn't close to any of the children or the matrons, I didn't want to hurt them by overestimating myself.

Additionally, I too lived here and I didn't want to ruin the lives of so many children just for the sake of my own selfishness, but damn! I really want to try out my Quirk… I don't remember anything from my past life, so I wasn't sure if I even had a past life, to begin with, but I don't think I had superpowers in my past life.

My inner nerd was screaming at me to give it a go, but I was determined not to give in to the temptation…

"So, you are the new guy?" Someone asked just after they knocked on the door frame. I turned around to find a tall kid standing along with a couple of kids behind him. I hope this isn't hazing or something like that.

"Yeah" I nodded my head as I stood up from my bed. "Hello, I am Itsuki Reo, nice to meet you" I decided to introduce myself first. I would have loved to say that I wasn't afraid of some kids, but kids could be really vicious from what I have seen in my memories.

Their viciousness might have been exaggerated in the fictional worlds, but I didn't want to take any chances… So, I decided that It was better to make a favorable impression and if my plan fails, then I could always hit them back at the earliest opportunity.

"I am Samui Hojo, nice to meet you too" The tall kid greeted back in a pleasant tone. "This is Marui Sado and this is Kuro Takada" Then he introduced the two kids standing behind him. "So, what is your Quirk?" Samui Hojo finally asked, looking excited and curious at the same time.

"The thing is… I don't know yet" I answered with a shrug. "I have to wait till the testing to know more" I added honestly. I could have lied, but I wasn't holding any cards for the time being.

"Oh… Well, it can't be helped" Hojo seemed to lose all of his excitement and shook his head. "I hope it is something strong, our society needs all the Heroes" He said in an encouraging tone while looking straight into my eyes. Oh God! Is he one of those Katsuki Bakugo wannabes?

I hope not…

"That it does" I nodded in agreement. Regardless if he was a Katsuki Bakugo wannabe or not, he was right. I don't think I am a Hero, at least not a real Hero like All Might, but in the current society, a Hero was not just a title, it was a profession and now that I have a Quirk, being a Hero was the safest course of action for me.

"Have a nice sleep then and good luck for the testing" Hojo said with a charming smile on his face before he started to leave along with his lackeys. His lackeys didn't even speak once, I wonder what's up with them.

"You should be careful around him" My bunkmate spoke up for the first time from the bed above me. Hojo acted like my bunkmate didn't even exist. Looks like I was right… Hojo is just a Katsuki Bakugo wannabe. He probably treats everyone other than himself as an extra.

"Why?" I asked after a moment, but never received any answer. Well, then. Fuck you too! I immediately started to hate the guy occupying the bed above me. I hated anyone who would try to warn others without explaining anything… Yeah, I never asked your opinion and even without your warning I was aware that Hojo was not the nice guy he would like to pretend to be.

I glared at the bed above me for a moment… You are a goddamn kid for fuck's sake. Act like a fucking kid and not a group-up… I started to wonder how these kids managed to learn politicking so early in their lives…

Without wasting any more time, I started to unpack my stuff… I didn't have much, to begin with, but I had some books and some clothes and since I was transferred to the other building, I decided to bring all of my stuff. When I was finally done, I turned off the light and rolled over in my bed wondering how I was going to spend the next day.

I could already tell, even without all the politics, that tomorrow was going to be a long and agonizing day…

(The Day After Tomorrow)

Just like I expected, yesterday was an extremely agonizing day for me… However, there are a few things I learned about this part of the orphanage. There are basically two factions in the orphanage. One of them is led by Samui Hojo and the other one is led by a girl named Tatsu Kurome.

Samui Hojo believes that only people with strong Quirks should become Heroes and have important roles in society, but Tatsu Kurome thinks that all of them should get a fair chance at life… That is the basic ideology behind the creation of these two factions, but Kumore only decided to create a faction to protect the kids with the weaker Quirks from Hojo's faction.

I couldn't believe what was happening in this orphanage… These kids were smarter and more mature than some of the adults I have seen since I was a child. Maybe, being orphans forced them to grow up quickly.

However, no matter how impressed I was with their maturity, I wasn't planning to join either faction… I know I would stick like a sore thumb and draw attention, but I still think remaining neutral was going to be the best course of action. Kurome wasn't going to try anything in the first place since she was more concerned about protecting the kids with weak Quirks.

And as for Hojo, regardless of his beliefs, he was nice to anyone with strong Quirks. He respected them and he wasn't bothered by the fact they were stronger than him or equal to him in terms of Quirk potential.

However, all of that still depended on how strong my Quirk was. If my Quirk was something weak, then my only option was Kurome if I wanted to have a somewhat calm life in this orphanage… "Reo-kun, are you ready?" The head matron called out, breaking me out of my musings. I finally remembered my surroundings and realized that the bus was already here.

"Yeah, let's go" I nodded my head with a bright smile on my face as I climbed into the bus along with the head matron…
