Training For The Next Battle 2

"Alright. When going against a Grass Variant Earth Element, you have to take these factors in consideration. Thunder Elements can barely damage the Grass Variant and won't do any damage at all to the Ground Variant." Avani started.

"Ahh, Thunder can affect Grass but not Ground." Aria nodded.

"Ice will not freeze the Grass Variant attacks, but will create frost around the user, slowing them down. And as you know Fire will burn them causing them to take massive damage. Now I will teach you this. It is called Elemental State. You can add an Element to yourself or an opponent. The catch is you have to hit that person with an elemental attack and vise versa." Avani said.

"So...much...knowledge..." Aria looked dazed.

"Don't mind her, she hasn't learned anything from her time being a Junior Warlord to now." Sefia laughed nervously.

"Well I guess she isn't the verbal learning type?" Avani asked.

"Nope, she's hands on. Surprisingly she learns all about her enemy through battle and most of the time it gets her in danger. She is very free spirited and lives by her own rules in her own little world." Joshua smiled.

"I see, so I mock battle shall teach her then." She picked up her training swords. "I won't use my Vorpal Chainblades since I don't want you to die." Avani smiled.

"Wait a mock battle? We are done with lessons already?" Aria looked around.

"No this still apart of the lesson." Avani said and got in a stance.

"Oh okay!" Aria smiled and got in a stance.

Avani dashed to Aria and caught Aria off guard then kicked her to the side. Aria grunted and rolled on her side.

"She's so fast!" Uchi said.

"You all are free to join and support Aria." Avani said.

Aria slowly got up and her eyes glowed and she smiled. Avani dashed to her and Uchi stopped the attack and hit her with the chakram. Avani slid back and looked at Uchi. Aria dashed to Avani and slashed with her lance and Avani blocked all of the attacks. Avani dodged the next slash and kicked her back.

"Your attack game is very off! You will never beat Motonari with such movements!" Avani scolded.

"I'm sorry! Sorry!" Aria continuously bowed to Avani as she scolded.

"Aria is gonna have a tough time for these few months." Joshua nervously smiled.

"Yeah..This is like her training with Lord Astros all over again.." Sefia smiled.

"Your movements at too slow. I can tell you have been holding back." Avani said.

"Yeah I noticed to in our fight." Motochika said.

"Why are you holding back?" Avani asked.

"I don't want to take a life...Even if I know I will have to one day..I just...Don't want to kill anyone..so naturally I've been holding myself back." Aria said.

"I understand that much. I once thought like you when I was younger. But it was either kill or be killed in the wild. Like I said, I grew up without parents so hunting was my only option for survival. I envy your life style, but holding back will result in your ultimate demise. As we know it the enemy you will face in the future will be out for blood for going against him." Avani said.

"Lord Omu.." Uchi said.

"I know you have skill with your weapons and a close connection. I can sense you grew up without parents also..not even knowing their names." Avani said.

"Yeah..I did. I grew up with two birds. Phoenix and Talamat. They are basically sisters to me..they did all they could to teach me the ways of survival and gave me this katana." Aria said.

"We are more similar but the way we grew up are different. They trained you to not kill unless necessary, but I had to kill to survive. I don't want anyone to grow up like me." Avani said.

Aria nodded and kept her composure. She looked at Avani and gave a smile.

"I will do as you want and not hold back!" Aria said.

"Good, when it comes to that final decision to kill you have a choice, but in the heat of battle you sometimes don't have a choice." Avani said.

"Is it true she grew up not knowing her parents?" Motochika looked at Sefia and Joshua.

"The only ones who actually know are Phoenix and Talamat." Sefia said.

"I see.." Motochika looked forward again.

"Alright Aria! Come at me with everything!" Avani said.

'I will not hold back anymore..! I have been going about this wrong! I am now in war with Lord Omu, and to beat him, I have to get stronger!' Aria's lance glowed in response to her. 'Stronger! Until I can defeat him!'

"Her lance didn't do that in my fight with her." Motochika said.

"This is when Aria is going all out. She still hasn't reached her full potential but she's plenty of strong. She is getting herself in the right mindset." Joshua said.

Aria bellowed and dashed to Avani. She slashed and clashed with Avani. Avani clashed with her and jumped, dodging a lower slash. She stomped on the blade, making the blade of the lance stick to the ground. Aria jumped back, dodging the attack and withdrew her katana. Her katana didn't glow. She dashed to Avani and slashed. Avani dodged and landed on her feet and green energy surrounded her training swords.

"Here is how Elemental State works!" She slashed and hit Aria's side.

Aria grunted and stumbled. Her side emitted green energy. She looked at the energy then at Avani.

"Now you are partly a Grass Variant for 5 minutes. When you are a Grass Varient, you are subjected to being heavily damaged by Fire Elemental attacks or being slowed by Ice Elemental attacks. Your attacks do Earth Elemental damage along with your original element, so you become stronger than Thunder Elements and weaker to Fire Elements." Avani said.

"Wow..Now that's cool." Aria said.

"The effects of Elemental State wear off after 5 minutes so make use of it while you can." Avani said.

"Is the Grass Variant stronger than Water?" Aria asked.

"No, you're thinking of an entirely different universe." Avani said.

"Oh..ehehe.." Aria chuckled nervously as she rubbed the back of her head. "Oh I wanna learn that magic trick you do when you can make your weapon disappear."

"Oh? Like this?" Avani said and her training swords turned into particles of energy and disappeared.

"Yeah! Like that!" Aria said. "I get tired of carrying and using my lance all the time."

"I can teach you that." Avani smiled.

"Yes!" Aria jumped in the air.

"She's getting excited over the most basic of energy manipulation.." Sefia said.

"That's Aria for you..." Joshua said.

Meanwhile in Nixtorm, Mitsuhide was walking along the frozen park with his daughter then stopped.

"Is something wrong father?" Gracia looked at Mitsuhide.

"Actually yeah..Lord Omu..Something is off about him...and it's just sending chills down my spine..I know Ranmaru feels it too..I know he is only serving Omu because Nobunaga told him to, but.." Mitsuhide said.

"Are you planning a rebellion against him?" Gracia asked. "If so I wanna help!"

Mitsuhide smiled and rubbed Gracia's head. He looked ahead and thought about it. He was planning to betray Lord Omu, but didn't know when. He knew he couldn't do it alone. He needed allies.

"Yes I am planning a rebellion. And we are going to get some old friends to help." Mitsuhide said.

"Like Lord Ieyasu and Tadakatsu and Ina? And Lady Nō also Okuni?!" Gracia smiled happily. She liked all of them as they were close with her father and Nobunaga.

"Yes, but we can not rebel now, we should focus on defending our kingdom for now." Mitsuhide said.

"Okay!" Gracia said.
