(A/N: Sorry for the late release, I had a writer's block and I was very sick... As well as my last exam paper. It is quite unfortunate that this chapter was shorter than my usual, because what I wanted to write doesn't fit with it.)

Today was nothing short but the same for everyone in the village... that is except that someone from the village is being chased by multiple Beowolfs and Nevermores.
He was what someone would call a normal Huntsman, nothing to out of the ordinary in their village. An average man with no achievements that would be note worthy, nor would it leave a mark in this world.
Average man, with an average life in the village. He was quite content with his current life, but there was always a certain jealousy within his heart whenever he looked at the strongest people in the village. He was jealous of their strength, because he wouldn't have ended up in this situation if he had their strength.
"Shit! Shit! Shit! Why am I the one being chased out of all the days! These fucking Nevermores relentless!" He cursed as he ran as hard as he could, never looking back.
He was conflicted because of the choices he had right now, and he only has 2. One, was to bait these Grimms away from the village in hopes of them not finding it, but in return he may or may not die. Or number two, go to the village and get these Grimms off his backs. In return he would still be breathing, but then the Grimms would know of their village location.
"SHIT! I'm not dying today! I have a life to live! I still haven't done everything that I wanted! ARGH!" He ran with all of his might, trying to shake off the Grimms but failed in the end and he had no choice but to return to the village if he wanted to live.
He didn't have a choice and he didn't want to do this but he had to return back the village. He was exhausted beyond belief trying to outrun the Grimms behind him, but he has forgotten a very crucial information about Grimms while he was fearing for his life. The Grimms are not organic beings, therefore they do not get tired. The don't need a wink of sleep, and only do so whenever there is nothing to do. The Grimms have, one would call infinite stamina.
When he was nearing the village, the Grimms behind him were gone. He could see hope when he was about 500 meters away from the gate. He could see the marks left behind by his people, indicating that he was close.
"Hahaha! I... I did i-" His own words was cut off as he felt something behind his back. It didn't felt like a Grimm had attacked him, it was sharp and man made...
"Fear is effective when it comes to things like this, they rule over men... They rule over every being, and make them irrational whenever they are in danger. They make beings only think for their survival, and I thank you for fearing for your life..." Someone whispered in his ears as his visions began fading away.
"N-no... N-n-not li-..ke this..." He said weakly as he felt his hot blood flowing out of his body, and he shivered as he felt the cold embrace of death. His last dying thoughts was cut short when he fell to the ground as his head was crushed by a powerful leg.
"So... This is where these rat bastards were hiding this whole time..." She had thought about it, she wanted to attack these miserable fools that were living in this accursed forest. But she stopped herself as the Grimms with her might not be enough for someone that could kill a Titan Grimm.
The Grimms she had brought with her mistress permission were, a pack of beowolf and a flock of Nevermores. The beowolf were average at best, and the Nevermores are creatures that could dwarf buildings, but have hollow skeletons so that they could fly with their body mass. Meaning, they would be brittle at the face of this... Huntsman her mistress had mentioned.
"I'll be back, until then... Count yourself lucky." She said still without showing any hint of emotions. She would amass an army with the help of her mistress. Luckily for her, this forest was infested with powerful Grimms.
"If they notice they that you are missing, which I'm sure they do, then let this be a warning." She looked at the corpse with it's head crushed in disgust, as she wiped her foot on the shirt of the dead human.
Other than getting the help of the Grimms in the vicinity, she would also need help from her so called allies that was gathered under the banner of her mistress. Consisting of misfits, criminals and people greedy for power.
'If I were to spare this human in one way or another the people here will still be on high alert due to the sudden Grimm activites.' She then looked at the direction of where the village should be.
'I don't need help from the likes of them, but I'm not stupid enough not to ask for help...' She thought of her so called allies.
(Linebreak)
"How did you get that scar uncle?" She asked her uncle as they sat at the same cliff where they fought. The difference this time is that the destruction of their fight still remains and scarred the earth around them.
The forest haven't healed since it's only been 4 months since they've fought each other, but it is healing due to the fact that both Enrico and Summer tried restoring the forest by uprooting the trees that are unable to recover, or replanting the surviving trees.
Enrico admired the horizon, the sun was setting and the... Destruction of the area did not help with that. He looked at the horizon, glancing at her, he responded. "One of the Joestars gave it to me when our fight reached it's climax. It is a reminder of my failures, and sins." He touched it, carrasing it to feel the scar that had been left behind from it being healed.
"How did that happen?" She was genuinely curious as to how such a thing had happened.
Enrico sighs in disappointment, "For the lack of better words, It was... Arrogance and I had let my guard down. Just like how arrogance was my downfall, this too was one my many mistakes..."
Summer herself wasn't a naive little girl anymore. This is because as she listen to her uncle's story, she knew that he was never a good man that he had shown to everyone. But that didn't matter to her as he was one of the few people who had taken care of her.
One might think that a twelve years old like her wouldn't know a thing or aren't sensitive. But because of her lifestyle and the predicament that the world is in, she and many more had to mature faster than a normal child would. Normal meaning, the world being at peace and there was no mortal danger they had to face everyday.
In this world, people had to fear in constant fear as a Grimm attack could happen at anytime. Villages that are far away from the Kingdom's capital are prone to be attacked since they do not have any military support or help from Huntsman.
Summer didn't know what to say to her until she gathered her courage and asked a question that no one would ask "Are you..." She took a deep breath "No... Were you one would consider evil uncle?"
Enrico didn't hesitate as he answered her "Yes... I did many things that could and would be considered evil. Many were... In my way of what I wanted to achieve Summer... I had used, eliminated and manipulated people for my own gain. I am not proud of what I did, but I never regretted them." He looked at the horizon, the only thing he sees in his life is the progress of one's own goal and how far their determination brings them.
Summers eyes widen, she was prepared for uncle's answers. She already knew he would do some unsavoury things when she last asked him. But to such an extent?
"What so great about Heaven if the path is only filled with bloodshed..." She mutters, feeling a little upset.
Enrico glances at her before looking back at the horizon. "When I wanted to achieve Heaven, it gave me a purpose of what I have to do. Back home, I was lost without a direction to guide me. That's when Dio's idea of Heaven gave me a purpose when I already lost everything."
Summer then hesitantly said. "... He... He used you didn't he?."
Enrico then looks at the ground beneath him as he closes his eyes "More like I wanted to be use. But yes... I knew that from the moment he began testing me, he wanted to use me for his own purpose."
"But you're free now right? Doesn't that mean you can live your own life now? Instead of just being someone else's pawn." She was upset at her uncle, he had purposely let himself be a pawn for someone's selfish desire.
Enrico smiled as he looked at her in the eyes. "Yes."
shown a portion of his power. Sadly, even if people like her uncle has reached Heaven, they are still humans in a sense as they can still die naturally.
'Unless I shed myself of my mortal body, then I will still be bound by death, but... That's not so bad when I think about it. besides, I already have everything I ever wanted...'
Then, that anxious feeling came back, but this time it felt a little different. Because this time his symbol of divinity didn't appeared abruptly again. This time, the feeling of warmth had entered his heart, as if he had regain a portion of his humanity once more.
Enrico touched where his heart is located on his chest, and he felt the feeling of a warm embrace of comfort on his chest. It was soothing as his empty heart was filled again with yet another unfamiliar feeling. He smiled at this as he took a deep breath, Wanting this feeling to a bit longer, maybe even forever.
"Uncle?" Summer called him out, he was acting a little strange.
"It's... fine Summer, just had a little ephiphany of this feeling that I am experiencing. Just... Let's sit here for a while, I need a little break from our story telling..." He said this because he was always uncomfortable about sharing his past to anyone, even if it's Summer.
But he still did it in hopes of break out of his shell of insecurities. He needed someone to trust other than Dio, And... Summer was that someone. Summer was the first person ever to have broken that shell of his. Then, he started talking, talking about his past, of how his life was before this, of who he was.
He didn't hide anything, he was speaking to her from the bottom of his heart whenever they talked about his past.
He didn't even hide behind that mask of his, that... Fake persona of a librarian. He was just him, Enrico Pucci. The man who had done horrible deeds to accomplish his goals, and the man who had given humanity the ability to see their fate so that they may walk their own path and defy fate.
Enrico Pucci, is just one of the many sinful human beings that have been birthed by society, who just so happens to also acquire insurmountable power. One of the infinite humans throughout the infinite realities to attain divinity.
