KIDNAPPING (IV)

"Damn it, didn't you lock the door?"

one of the men, upon seeing the office door open, spoke in an irritated tone.

"I did... I even bolted the lock" - another man replied, scratching his head.

He had bolted the door since they were in hiding, also concealing the bodies of those who were in charge of this dock. Only a fool or a novice would leave the door unsecured.

"He's just a kid, but he's strong... but he's not Suk-Joo, he doesn't look like the one in the photo... Who the hell is he and how did he get here? Isn't Yong-soo and his crew supposed to be outside guarding the way here?"

Dong-Suk scrutinized our protagonist with evaluating eyes. It wasn't normal at all for a boy to arrive and open the door so casually, as he had witnessed his subordinate lock it.

Dong-Soo, on the other hand, had already stood up properly and was eager to slit the newcomer's throat.

He wasn't as analytical as his older brother, but he knew this kid was far from ordinary, having also witnessed one of the subordinates securing the door.

As everyone stared at Robert with eyes full of killer instinct, he focused on the system screen that had suddenly appeared before him.

Ding, ding, ding

"Well, I take that back, this is no longer disappointing" - He murmured to himself as a smile formed on his face - "I think I've hit the jackpot"

Now, before him were two individuals who were, for all intents and purposes, additional points with a great deal of strength! And, as if that weren't enough, the system was giving him a mission.

[Hidden Mission - Clearing out the trash brings benefits! Eliminate all individuals in this room and earn favor with several important people. However, you'll make more enemies than you have: reward 10 additional points.]

When Robert learned that Dayun had been kidnapped alongside SW Group's granddaughter, he thought a rescue mission by the system would be activated.

Rescuing the granddaughter of such an important conglomerate as SW, who had so many connections with the government's military branch, would greatly benefit him.

But curiously, the system didn't give him any such mission!

At any other time, this lack of response from the system would have been a problem as it indirectly went against the host's wishes.

But for Robert, this fact conveyed a significant message.

Indirectly, it meant that he should get involved and try to stay somewhat away from this, at least as far as Shin Yuna was concerned. Even when Ijin had called him for help, Robert knew he shouldn't stick around as he wouldn't benefit from it.

However, when our protagonist hears Cha Dusik's information about the location of the possible kidnappers, an idea begins to form in his mind.

This kidnapping of the SW Group president's granddaughter smelled like there was more to it than met the eye. There were more people involved besides the kidnappers and SW, and what he had just seen confirmed it.

These two men, apparently brothers, were indeed the kidnappers. However, they were currently in Sunshine Corp's territory, clearly setting a trap to incriminate the latter.

How did these Hwang brothers dare to be so stupid as to provoke the tiger and want to confront it with another tiger?

Either they were brainless fools who acted without considering the consequences, which didn't seem likely, or they were following guidelines set by someone else.

The latter seemed more probable, given that the system mission message said if he defeated these two men, Robert would gain 'an enemy' in addition to those he already had.

Perhaps he would come into the sights of another group, likely the supporters of these Hwang brothers.

However, that could take a back seat as, from the information about these men, he confirmed something that made him feel more excited and slightly anxious.

Both came from a world where something called 'Hunters' existed, categorized and killed by the protagonist of that story, and where crazy things like time resets happened. That was the closest thing to the 'fantasy' genre he had seen so far.

That meant that out there were beings who were unimaginably strong, much stronger than humans at the peak of power.

"Damn... my hands are starting to itch with excitement" - Robert murmured as he looked at his current stats on the system screen.

After distributing his accumulated points from various missions and those earned after having sex with Seon-Joo, he made a significant leap in his average stats. Of course, he was still far from being able to even face someone like Anna Jin, but his ascent was steady.

"The younger of those two brothers is the stronger one... at the same level as mine. First, I must get rid of those five types who are just trash"

He calmly entered the office and closed the door behind him, causing everyone present to raise their eyebrows at such an action.

"Kid, I don't know what brought you here, but it was the stupidest thing you could have done in your life because you won't be leaving here" - one of Dong-Suk's subordinates spoke sarcastically while pulling a knife from his waist.

"In your next life, try not to stick your nose where it doesn't be-"

"Argh!"

Just as the subordinate was about to touch Robert's shoulder and stab him, he began clutching his throat while suddenly dropping to his knees!

Immediately, everyone saw blood gushing from between his hands!

"What the hell just happened?!"

"Jun-Tae!"

Suddenly, everyone was on alert, because they didn't know what the hell just happened.

A moment ago, his classmate named Jin-Tae was about to kill this meddling brat, but the next moment, he was lying on the floor, while blood kept coming out of his neck! 

However, only two people had realized what had happened.

Dong-Suk slowly stood up as his gaze hardened. Dong-Soo, for his part, widened his smile when he saw the knife that Jun-Tae had pulled out in the boy's hand.

In one swift movement, Robert had taken Jun-Tae's knife and slit his throat with that very gun!

For everyone else, the move was a blur, but for the Hwang brothers, it was as clear as day.

Although they didn't know how this had happened, Dong-Suk's group quickly took out their weapons and took a step back.

'There's one, there's five rubbish left' – Robert thought calmly as if he were talking about any other topic other than murdering a person.

Ding, ding, ding

Robert raised his eyebrows slightly upon seeing this system message as this was a surprise.

Not only was he getting points for meeting these guys, but also when he killed them!

'What good service' – He thought amusingly.

Once the initial surprise was overcome, those present realized that this boy was by far someone simple. Perhaps he was someone from the SW Group's elite forces.

If this was true, his plans had gone wrong!

"Gyuh-Wan, Yoo-gul, Chan-gho, and Jeo-whu, surround him and kill him!"

Dong-Suk quickly gave an order to his subordinates, who did not move immediately, as they were not sure if they could do anything to this guy. However, in the end, they advanced.

"Damn brat, die!"

"Let's cut his neck!"

"You on the sides, I on the front!"

The three aforementioned subjects quickly moved with great speed, in a double pincer movement, while raising their knives.

The death of his companion marked the beginning of the battle, everyone rushed towards Robert.

Tranquilizing his mind, Robert concentrated on each of his movements, making sounds disappear and time slow down.

Right now he was synchronizing his mind and body, remembering all of his old abilities and integrating them with his new physique.

It was time to start showing how he had become the best of the assassins and mercenaries from his former life!

Suddenly, before the four subjects reached their objective, Robert's figure disappeared.

"Hey?"

Gyuh-Wan, who was closest to him, opened his mouth in surprise, but could not utter a sound as his throat began to fill with blood, which gushed out of his mouth.

*Slash*

"Cough!"

Gyuh-Wan grabbed his neck and fell to the ground, the same way as Jun-Tae.

The remaining three subjects stood there, petrified, as if what they had just seen was a paranormal act!

The brat who seemed to have disappeared, arrived in front of his companion and with a quick movement not only slit his throat but also stabbed the knife into his chest several times in a row, right at the level of the heart and great vessels! 

*Ding, ding, ding*

"As…? "How does he move like that?"

"Cut it!"

"It's too fast!"

"I can't hit him!"

The faces of these subjects turned pale while their minds could not process what was happening in front of their eyes.

The speed he was seeing was something that not even his boss's brother had ever shown!

For their eyes, our protagonist's movements were fast and they could only see a blur, which mixed with all of them and stabbed them one by one.

"Magic? This is magic?"

*Paaaaf*

"Motherfucker!"

"Aaah!"

"What…Who the hell is it?"

*Splash*

"Woah!"

Around the office, the screams of the three subjects spread everywhere until everything was silent.

Ding, ding, ding

Five of the enemies had already died!

Until now, the guys he had killed had [Strength] and [Speed] levels that were around twenty points on average, which put them at a garbage level in the eyes of Robert. 

However, now came the real fight.
