Chapter 103

RATE AND REVIEW

Casey ran as fast as her legs could carry her till she was far from Mrs Wilson's house. She put her hand on her knees as she waited to catch her breathe. There was no way she was going to ask Mrs Wilson for help, especially now that she knew the kind of person she was.

She quickly boarded a taxi to her house and in time, she got there.

She got down the cab and rushed into the house but when she got into the house, she found her mum, sister and brother on the floor,...... unconscious.

" Mum!!" She called as she ran to them. 

She quickly checked their pulses to be sure they were alife and luckily, they were. She took out her phone and called for an ambulance which arrived in time.

When the ambulance arrived, they put the patients in the back and headed to the hospital.

Halfway there, Mariana regained consciousness and Casey sighed in relief.

" What happened to you?" Casey asked as she helped her sister sit up.

" It was a woman, she sounded familiar. She sounded like someone who has come to the house before"

" What did she do to you?" Casey asked.

" She....."

FLASHBACK........

"Hey, give it back to me" Mariana yelled as she chased after Santiago.

" I won't. You already had five Snickers, let me have this"

" No you won't" Mariana yelled as she continued to go after her brother. " Mum!!" She called out to Mrs Lambert, hoping that she would be able to talk sense into Santiago.

" What is it?" Mrs Lambert asked as she came downstairs.

Mariana and Santiago halted, " it's Santi" Mariana spoke up " he doesn't wanna give my chocolate back"

" Santiago, is that true?" Mrs Lambert asked..

" Yes mum, but I only took it because she already had five"

" And so, how is that your business?" Mariana asked

" I don't want you to get cavities" Santiago said as he ran to the door but halted and fell to the ground after being hit on the head.

" Santiago?" Mariana ran to her brother but got the same fate as she was also hit on the head.

Mrs Lambert walked to the door to see what was going on but " the woman" hit her on the head, causing her to pass out.

The woman continued to walk into the house without knowledge that Mariana was still conscious.

Mariana rushed to her, " what are you doing here?" Mariana asked.

" Stay away from me" 

" I won't" Mariana spoke stubbornly as she tried to drag the mask off the woman's face and luckily the mask came off.

" You brat" the woman yelled as she pushed Mariana to the floor, causing her to loose consciousness.

BACK TO PRESENT.....

" and have you seen this woman before?" Casey asked.

" No. I haven't" Mariana replied.

" If I show you a picture, will you able to recognize her?" Casey asked, trying to confirm her doubts.

" Yes I will" Mariana said as she held her head in pain.

Casey took out her phone and showed Mariana the video she had of Mrs Wilson but she made sure to turn down the volume so as not to disturb.

" Is this her?" Casey asked.

" Yes it is her. She is the woman that came to our house and I'm surprised she didn't steal. However, she went to Ariana and your room to do God knows what" Mariana spoke.

Casey clenched her fists, as if Mrs Wilson being a murderer wasn't enough, she had the guts to attack her family.

" You have crossed the line Mrs Wilson, you have".
