Episode 41

Ava's Point Of View,

"I am so sorry mom, that I am such a failure for you. I am really sorry that I do not know how to handle my heart. I am so sorry that after all these years I am not able to forget him. I am so sorry that I am a burden to you. I am sorry mom that I could not be a good daughter to you", I cried hard and just fell to my knees.

I did not know that I will cry like this. I did not know that it would be so hard for me to hold this. Things are really out of my hands now and I am not able to control this.

"Honey, I did not mean it. I really did not mean it, my baby. You are the best daughter and I am so happy to have you. Do not dare you to say that thing again, just do not. You are my treasure, not a burden", mom said as she was coming close to me but before she could come Luke came.

Luke stood in front of me. I just stopped crying instantly. I do not want him to see me like this. I saw how easily he gets hurt and affected when he thinks or sees something like this, he cries too and I do not want him to be a weak person like me.

"Luke, when did you come baby? You did not tell Mumma that you were back", I said. I was trying to act normal but my voice was already changed due to crying and I just do not know how it will go.

He was looking at me with so many emotions on his face, it was kind of hard to get what he was thinking right now, he was looking so suspicious.

"What happen my baby", I asked him as I was trying to hold his hand but he just took a step back and shook his head.

"Who is my dad, Mumma? Why you did not tell me that I also have a dad as other kids have? Why did you hide it from me", he asked me and his words fell on my head like someone had thrown a bomb on me.

It is so hard for me to take it. My eyes just got wide and I just do not know what the hell I should say to him.

Did he hear that already? He heard my conversation with mom. Oh god, what will happen now? What I will do?

How I will make him understand this? He is so stubborn and he is smart too. He will catch a lie easily.

So I just looked at my mom and looked at her with pleading eyes so that she could do something and change this topic or maybe distract him.

"Luke, I have something to tell you, come with me baby", Mom tried to distract him but he did not even look at her. He just kept looking at my face.

"No, I do not want to hear anything. I am talking to my mum and I want to know about my dad. My dad is here and I want to know who is my dad", he said and for some seconds, I just got scared by his action and his words. He was acting strange. What has gotten into him?

"Luke, baby, what happened to you all of the sudden? Why is my baby angry? Come here, see Mumma is hurt. You did not even ask Mumma anything", I was trying my best to get him and make him understand but he is not reacting to what I am saying.

I just had to be careful. I had no idea that he was at home or else I would not say what I said. How come I am so stupid? Please god just help me and tell me what to do.
