Twin Sorrows

Now, Commander Kanon Sokolov was in a tight dilemma. Was he about to chase down Sekki for killing one of the three rookies of the Fangs of Vargr who died earlier? Or was he going to turn around and help the remaining three of them in getting rid of the summoned Lunaseekers that Sekki called for as backup earlier? 

He turned around and then back to Sekki who was running away and leaving a trail of blood which could easily be traced. Suddenly, the flashbacks of that time when White Mask made his first appearance in the rookie class which left only three survives left made him remember the regret and pain he felt back then. That was when he knew, he had to make the right choice now – between saving the rookies and chasing the assailant.
