Aeon's POV

"These are not shifters. Their humans" ani ko.

"But how?" tanong ni Dark sa tabi ko.

"We can fight them. They are just humans" ani Colton.

"Are you nuts? We don't even know what those weapons are" sagot ng kambal niya. Bumaba kami ng hagdan at ng makita kami ng mga tao ay tinutukan nila kami ng baril.

"Boys, let's not be rude to our guests, can we?" dagdag pa niya. Binaba nila ang kanilang mga baril. I've seen those before but I don't know what it's capable of.

Among the group of humans is a middle-aged woman with her mahogany wavy hair. So it's her. She's the leader?

"What do you want?" diresto kong tanong sakanya.

"Oh so straightforward. Can we first have some entertainment?" she said while smiling. This human is crazy.

"Bring her in" utos niya.

"Let me go" ani ng isang boses. Napatingin kami sa direksyon ng pinanggagalingan nito.

"Fiery" ani Trasher. I can't help but smile at their tactics.

"So, where do we start?" aniya. Hindi ko na naiwasan ang tawang kanina ko pa pinipigilan.

"Is she okay?" rinig kong tanong ni Colton. I saw her glare at me. She grabbed the girl's hair who looks like Fiery.

"I didn't know that humans are this dumb and pathetic. How can you resort to this kind of plan?" I mocked. Inagaw niya ang isang baril na hawak ng kasamahan niya saka niya tinutok sa dalaga.

"I know how precious this kid to you" she stated.

"Yeah, only if she's real" sagot ko sakanya.

"You knew?" nagtatakang tanong niya. I rolled my eyes at her.

"I wasn't born yesterday, and I'm not as pathetic and dumb as you humans" I spat at her.

"You vampires are poison in this world" there's venom behind her words. What do they have against vampires anyway? It's not like we're treating them like livestock.

"Says who?" tanong ko sakanya habang naglalakad ako palapit sa kinaroroonan nila.

"You humans?" I scoff. "For all I know, you humans are the real poison in this world. You are nothing but a pathetic and useless creature. You just blame everything on us vampires to comfort yourselves because inside you, you're sinners and selfish who's filled with desire" I added. She pointed the gun at the girl's head then she pulls the trigger. The lifeless body of the girl drops to the floor while shifting to her original body. She's a teen shifter. I clenched my fist.

"Now you just prove me right," I told her then dash to her back at a speed. I grab her neck.

"You know I can kill you in a blink of an eye" I whispered to her ears.

"No, you can't" pagkasabi niya ng mga katagang iyon ay biglang bumukas ang pintuan and an unknown creature dash in a vampire speed through my friends' direction.

"Not so fast Cordea" my whole world stops from spinning when I saw the only person that I least expected, grabbing Trasher's neck.

"How on earth are you here Slyfire" hindi ako makapaniwalang nandito siya.

"Hello, hon" he smirks while still choking Trasher.

"Let him go" utos ko sakanya.

"You let her go first" utos rin niya sa akin. I let the bitch go as he commanded then he let Trasher go. This can't be happening.

"What did you do to him?" tanong ko sa babae. She didn't answer me. Instead, she gave me her most annoying smirk.

"Why? Didn't you miss me, hon?" he said playfully while walking towards me. No.

"You're not him. My husband is dead" sagot ko sakanya.

"Oh, actually, they managed to save me when you abandoned me" sagot niya ng tuluyan na siyang nakalapit sa akin. I stare at his face. He's not the man whom I used to love. His eyes are different from his original diamond blue eyes. It's now bloody.

"What did they do to you?" I asked him while caressing his face. Hinawakan niya ang kamay kong humahaplos sa kanyang muka. His grip tightens.

"Why did you leave me?" his jaw clench.

"I thought you're dead" sagot ko sakanya. Napakunot noo siya sa sinabi ko.

"Sylfire, kill her" utos ng babae. So they are here to kill me.

"What's the rush, Violet" sagot niya sa babaeng nagngangalang Violet. That wench.

"But I can start with them since we are here to kill every single one of them" sagot niya. My heart tightens at what he said. They turned him into a murderer, into a weapon to kill us. I don't have a choice. I grab his arms then throw him into the wall. The wall breaks but he seems unhurt.

"Rigescunt Indutae" I chanted. I cast the spell for humans for them not to move.

"Get everyone in a safe place, now" utos ko kila Dark.

"How about you?" tanong ni Trasher.

"I have to stop him" sagot ko sakanya. I'm the only one who can fight against him.

"No, I'm not leaving you here" Trasher is really stubborn sometimes.

"I can't fight him if you're here, Trasher. I can't have him kill you" pagsusumamo ko sakanya. Tinignan muna niya ako sandali bago nagsalita

"Promise me you'll come back to me" aniya.

"I promise" I assured him. Tinignan muna niya ako sandali bago siya umalis. When I saw them safely exited the hall, I curse.

"Occidere" I chanted then every human snapped their necks including the wench. I want to kill her slowly but I don't have time for that.

"You really do love him" I turn around to see Sylfire recovering from my spell. Shit. He's really strong.

"Didn't you know that those creatures serve us my meal?" dagdag pa niya. His the cause of the missing students.

"What?" I pried.

"Well" panimula niya habang naglalakad palapit sa akin.

"That filthy creature? What's her name again? Holly?" aniya.

"She's the one who's capturing them for me but the bitch didn't even manage to fulfill her mission so I snapped her neck earlier" hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ako dahil pinatay niya si Holly.

"And the bitch has a secret that really made me crazy. She killed my daughter and yet you can't even kill her and now I'm going to kill you" he said then charges towards me. All I did is dodging every attack he gives me. Hindi ko alam kung may pag asa ba akong manalo sakanya. He's way stronger and with the condition, I'm in right now, I can't win against him.

"Promise me you'll come back to me" Trasher's words rang through my mind. I want to. I want to live. I want to know the reason why they killed my daughter. I want to know if it's worth her death. I want to avenge her. I want to live.

"What's wrong? Have you gone weak?" he taunted. Umikot ang paningin ko kaya hindi ko napansin ang kamao niyang dumapo sa pisngi ko. Napaluhod ako sa suntok niyang iyon. I coughed blood just by being hit on the face. He's stronger than I thought.

"You know I can kill you in a blink of an eye" sabi niya saka siya umupo para magpantay kami at makita niya ang mukha ko.

"Then why are you hesitating?" tanong ko sakanya.

"Where's the fun in killing you right away?" aniya saka niya ako sinabunutan at pwersahan niya akong pinatingin sakanya.

"You look like shit" komento niya. I force myself not to look at him, because if I did. I'll just find myself crying and reminiscing our memories together.

"Cannary will be very disappointed if she saw us fighting each other" pagalit niyang binitawan ang pagkakasabunot sa buhok ko saka siya tumayo.

"But she's not here. She's already dead, because of you. They killed her because of you" he spat then kick me in the stomach. Napaubo nanaman ako ng dugo sa ginawa niyang yun. If this continues, I'll be dead in a minute.

"What do you mean?" nahihirapang tanong ko sakanya. I tried to stand but failed.

"You look pathetic right now like those human beings you hate so much," he said. He's looking down on me.

"You use to be a human too. But now you're not a human nor the creatures you resent so much. They are just using you to kill us. You're a weapon" sagot ko sakanya.

"You think I didn't know that? I agreed to be used by them to kill every single one of you because it's your fault why Cannary died" sagot rin niya sa akin saka niya ako sinakal at inangat sa ere. I'm struggling to breathe.

"I don't know what you're talking about" hirap kong sakot. My sight is starting to be clouded by light. I can't die right now. I refused to die like this.
