Liam pov

Maybe others won't notice, but I could feel it, Maria changed after that incident.

In a sense, I won't say change, maybe something like she's showing her true self.

Before she always tried to deny the fact that she was brutal and sinister, but now.

*Crunchhhhh*, yeah that's the sound of her crushing the poor creature's skull.

"We need to get stronger," she said, catching a wolf, *crack* breaking its legs.

"We can't force it, we can only do our best" I iterated, watching her brutality.

"We don't have a choice, what that bastard revealed would make us a target for every powerhouse in style!" yelled Maria, looking at me intensively.

"yeah, I know so what's your idea," I said, pushing the decision to her.

"we should start raiding the dungeons," she said sounding resolved.

"No" I quickly interjected, I could tell that was her plan from the start.

"We can't do that" I continued, in a somber tone.

Fighting our way to the core region is okay and manageable, but entering any dungeon, from the inner region is not.

As many know, dungeons are structure, that mostly houses monsters, but based on our findings they are not accurate.

Dungeons are created through different methods here in style, ranging from being brought into existence due to saturated energy in that specific area that attracts monsters or creates them.

Some through dungeon demons, they are many ways to form dungeons in style, but that's not the main point.

Coming back from my thought, I looked at Maria, seeing her made my heart melt.

"You know we don't have enough resources, and there's only both of us, we can't pull this off," I said trying to sound reasonable.

"tell me what you think we should do then," she said looking at me intensively.

Maria POV

I don't really like causing trouble for him, but if I want us as a family to survive, I have to make sure he agrees with me.

"I don't know, but that's not a good idea.

There are other ways" he said looking me in the eye, making my stance falter a little, maybe I should just leave it.

"Tell me, if we don't get stronger, how are we going to survive in the core region;

The cores out here are not really that useful to us, but the monsters are already this strong," I said trying to make my point clear.

"Remember what they discovered, the dungeon helps in leveling up faster, how did you feel when you entered the outer region dungeons" I continued, holding his hands tight.

I think my plan is working, from the looks in his eyes I can tell that he's coming towards my side.

"Are you sure about this?" he asked, looking at me intensively.

Without wasting time I answered yes, ready to start my new expedition.

After looking for all the clues, it led him to the forbidden land.

Azion as a very skilled tracker and assassin was able to trace them here, but due to the forbidden land nature, it became nearly impossible.

After all his tracing and findings, he figured out that Liam came here with a female, and though he saw the revelation.

He was not that bothered like it said yet to be born, and there's a high chance that whatever it is would be in the core region.

with Rose's group gathered at the main castle to receive the weapons needed for the mission.

Looking around rose didn't know how to react to the fact that she would be one of the few independent groups, that entered heavens weaponry, and her guild was not that old.

Compared to her predecessor, she can be counted as a child, accomplishing a feat that only old people should have.

On reaching a golden huge door the attendant bowed to them before leaving, immediately he left the door started opening, revealing an old woman who supported herself with a stick.

Shining her incomplete teeth, in an effort to smile "oh you are finally here" she said, "remember to choose wisely and don't be greedy, greed leads to death" she said before vanishing like she wasn't there at first.

"You know what to do, this is a golden opportunity to prove our worth, and stand above all the other independent groups, don't mess it up," she said in a Stern voice, eyeing all her subordinates.

With a nod to her words, they all walked in, preparing for the mission that will change their lives.
