Chapter Thirteen

Elora pov

during lunch break, I went to the library to have some quiet time, I have learned to follow my aunt's tip by being a sheep in school and an angry lion at home, and for the past few weeks I have been doing it and it's working perfectly for me.

"Can I sit with you?" a voice interrupted me, the voice deep and lovely, I raise my face to see a young handsome boy of average height, fair-skinned with brown eyes that matches his hair, his dimple deep as he was smiling faintly at me, I couldn't help but admire his cuteness"hey,".he said jolting me out of my thought.

"um, what did you say?"

"I said if I can join you?" he asked.

"why? Who are you? I don't think I have seen you before, did Marvin send you here to bug me?"I asked not smiling, but he chuckle.

"who's Marvin? no one sent me here, is my first day here, I mean am a newbie?" he replied warmly and I stare at him all over as he adjust the bag on his shoulder.

"you are new here?"I asked wanting to be sure.

"yes, I just got here, I was with the principal settling something that's why I couldn't make it to class, by the way, am Nathan,".he said as he introduce himself.

"Elora" I replied.

"nice to meet you, Elora, so, can I sit? he asked and I offered him a sit. "thank you".he brought out his book from his bag ." so, may I ask why you are here alone?"

"Well, I am here minding my own business".

"how do you mean?".

"believe me, you don't want to know".

"Okay if you say so,".he said and went quiet focusing on our books.

An hour later, everyone was already in class, the whole place was rowdy as hell, then the teacher walked in and all became calm and quiet. I raise my face to see Nathan standing with the teacher, our eyes meant and he smiles at me.

"alright everyone, we have a new student in our mist".the teacher said and the whole class went amused and admiring the boy, the teacher ask him to introduce himself.

"good day everyone, my names are Nathan Will and I am glad to be in your midst,".he said and the whole class clapped.

"go take a seat, Nathan," he said and he walk straight to me, my seat has a vacant space and no one wished to be my seatmate.

"Is this seat vacant?" he asked smiling at me and I could see the whole class staring at us.

"um, yes".I replied and he turn around and sit next to me.

"thank you".

"you are welcome".we smile at each other and then turn our gaze back to the teacher, the class stop staring and turns to the teacher as well...... during the closing hour, I was walking to the school gate when I heard a familiar voice calling out my name, I turn to the direction and I saw Nathan running towards me.

"hey," he came over trying to catch his breath.

"hey"

"I can see you are already on your way home, I was hoping I can walk with you,".he said shyly.

"of course, I will need company".I replied and I could see the joy in his eyes as we both walk out of the school gate and say goodbye to Mr duke...later at home, I was helping nanny out in the kitchen

"you look so happy, what is the reason?" nanny asked.

"well, that's because I made a new friend".I replied smiling.

"Really? That's good to know".

"yes nanny, he is the friend I have made since I started going to that school".

"Oh, he is a boy" she smiles knowingly at me.

"yes nanny, he is so friendly and..cute too".I blushed.

"am happy for you dear".

"thank you nanny" We continue with what we were doing.

two days later, Nathan and I became close that we seat in the same place at the canteen eating and chatting with each other, then I knew he was from London but got enrolled in this school because his parents transferred here, I noticed he was caring, outstanding and quietly intelligent. during the free period, I went to the theater room to have a quiet moment because the library was a little feed up and Nathan was busy with some school project, I was in the theater room for a longer time and I didn't know it was past six already, I stood up with my book to the exit door and then I noticed it was locked.

narrator pov

meanwhile, earlier the day, Anna and her friends as already planned out with some other students to lock Elora in the theater room because they follow her and saw her heading there.

"Are you sure, this plan works?"Emily asked

"yes, all we need to do is to ask the boys to drug her, made her lay with a guy, took a picture of them both wrapped in each other arms and then send it on the net, this will not only ruin her reputation but also become a great disaster to her". Anna said.

"Okay, but which of the students are we using for the game, you know it also is a risk for him too because his face will be on the net". Gloria said.

"I know, I have already planned with the guys, they know what to do, ".she said.

"Okay, when are we carrying out the plan?"Gloria asked.

"Today of course once is six pm, everyone must have left the school, then the boys will strike". Anna said.

"But what if Elora leaves before then?"Emily asked.

"then we should pray she shouldn't leave before then, this is our only way to get back at her".

"Okay,".they both chorus and then walk away.
