Xu Qi's first destination was the Yue Clan. He thought Ling Lian and Xiao Yue would accompany him but the two just sent him through the door of the post, telling him to quickly conclude his business with the city while they prepare for their departure.
Although that's what they said, it's more like their consideration to Xu Qi to not meddle in whatever connection he made during his mission.
