chapter 6 the story to remember

"wh..who are y..you talking about dear" he stuttered. "Don't lie to me dad, just tell me the truth and nothing less" I said sounding serious. 

"Well dear who told you that name" he said trying to hide his fear. 

"It doesn't matter I just need to know please dad" I said feeling a bit pained.

"Okay dear, I'll tell you the truth, but first take a sit, this might sadden you" he said calmly

I took a sit and listened attentively to what my dad was about to say. 

"My daughter have you ever heard of a kingdom called 'Bentrish' he said waiting for my answer. "Well Chris told me his a prince from bentrish but I don't really know about that country" I said worriedly. 

"Well that is a country for benders, there are different benders there, some of them are water, fire, earth, air and even space benders. But their leader is a woman and her name is "Dina Lina" she is a very beautiful woman, they are all very beautiful. So, when your mom gave birth to you, I had an affair with her and till now I am ashamed of my actions. She wanted to marry me and unite our country but I refused because I felt guilty over cheating on your mom and I told your mom about the affair but she forgave me and I broke up with the bender queen. 

"You turned 6months old when you were struck with a serious illness and no one could save you. Your mom was so worried and sad and she barely ate anything. So I decided to seek help from Dina she agreed to help me but on the condition that my daughter will marry the crown prince of Bentrish when she turns 18. Of course I didn't accept since I wanted my daughter to choose her future groom on her own but she refused to help unless I accept.

Your mom convinced me to accept on the fear that you could loose your life, so I gave up and accepted to her demands then she called upon Lord's of all the elements and they all gave up different orbs with colours matching their elements, the water had a blue iced orb, the fire had a red volcanic orb, the air had a colourless tornado like orb and the last one the space element orb looked like a dark night filled with stars. They all combined their orbs and gave it to you."

I kept processing my dad's words, I was shocked but I didn't want him to think it was too much for me to handle so I kept a neutral look. "So what happened next" I asked my dad.

"You swallowed the orb and smiled, you looked so cute and beautiful till I noticed something glowing at the back of your neck, then I saw the royal family crest of Bentrish was tattooed on you to follow you wherever you are. 

"But they can't appear to u unless you are thinking about them"he added

"So that's how Chris was able to enter my room" I said unconsciously.

"What" dad said in anger
