First Class at the Academy

Lin Dong received a schedule and Lin Tai who was still shocked about his brother's element walked him to class, Lin Dong saw his shocked brother and said: "Cat got your tongue, older brother, you, mom, and dad are so powerful so why can't I be powerful as well."

Lin Tai shook his head, getting out of his shocked state, and looked at his brother "You are shameless, for the past 10 years of your life doctors over doctors have been calling you a cripple, now it is being shown that not only do you have a sword spirit but the legendary gravity element. After opening the door and walking inside the class he saw a girl and an old man who was staring back at him. Lin Dong walked in and sat in an empty seat in the front row one seat away from the girl.

The teacher was an old man, the aura around this old man was terrifying. The girl was wearing the girls uniform but from his observation, this girl was definitely from noble descent. The old man sighed "You must be the new student, Lin Dong, I am Situ Nan and this is my granddaughter Situ Qiu."

Lin Dong was shocked and asked "Situ? You mean the Royal Clan Situ, Rulers of the Situ Dynasty?"

Lin Dong is currently in the Human Province. There were 5 territories belonging to each race Human Province, Demon Province, Elven Empire, Merfolk Divine Sea, and Half-Beast Territory. In the Human Province was 5 provinces which are the Situ Dynasty, Azure Wind Province, Britanian Empire, Zhang Dynasty, and the Seven-Leaf Empire. Right now, Lin Dong is in the Lin City Area which is a backwater city in the Situ Empire.

Right now 2 people form the Situ Royal Clan was sitting in the same place as him and he was maybe a little confused "So what brings you to the Lin City Area?"

Situ Nan chuckled "Nothing, we are here to learn so, grandaughter tell Lin Dong what your abilities are and Lin Dong will do the same."

Situ Qiu had the stench that Lin Dong could smell even if he didn't know who the person was, the smell was of a spoiled brat.

Situ Qiu stood proudly and said, "I am Situ Qiu, I have the illusion element, or the ability to affect the mind of a person, and I have reached mid-understanding of the element. I also have the Bow Sprit."

Lin Dong stood up and said "I am Lin Dong, I have the gravity element or the ability to... you know affect gravity. I have mid-understanding of the element. I also have a sword spirit."

Situ Qiu had a shocked face as she repeated what he said in her head "You are lying! The Gravity Element hasn't been seen in over 10 centuries!"

Situ Nan to the side chuckled as he said: "Yes, Lin Dong did lie about something..." Situ Qiu was about to reprimand Lin Dong but she heard Situ Nan complete his sentence "...he lied about how much understanding he has of the gravity element, isn't that right Lin Dong."

Lin Dong looked at the old man and smiled, inside he let a sigh of relief that he kept the time and space elements inside the void stone or else it would have been detected by this old man. Situ Qiu, on the other hand, was shocked, if her grandfather was saying he had the gravity element it must be true, and she thought she was special for having the illusion element but with the gravity, the element wouldn't he be able to fly away from her illusions.

But what she didn't know is that her grandfather was going to say something else shocking "and your birthday was yesterday so your talent is shocking to of reached Minor-Mortal Apostle in one day."

Situ Qiu felt like crying every phrase her grandfather has said since Lin Dong entered the classroom have been like gunshots of shock. Situ Nan then looked at his granddaughter "This is why I have brought you here today, we have someone else with a special element and due to my contract with the school in return for sheltering us and keeping us hidden, if anyone student comes to the school with a special element I have to teach them."

Situ Qiu, who felt she was supposed to be the greatest talent in this backwater village was still not accepting it "Why? This backwater school should be honored to shelter us, why should you have to make this deal?"

Situ Nan chuckled at his naive granddaughter "It is because if we don't make this deal, the school can tell the location of where we are to the clan and get the bounty money which would allow the school to raise its value."
