Eldritch in DxD

I had written this fic before, but then took it down cause it didn't make sense. So, I'm reposting it again. And I'll put a warning here. I am not an author, I'm only writing cause the concept keeps popping into my mind, so there would be lots of mistakes, but I have no choice but to write it as it is. And on that note, expect some grammatical errors, but I'll adapt as I continue writing. I'll also make this a one-shot kind of something cause, I don't really get ideas, so, slow-updates, yes. I'll jus upload whenever I get the inspiration too. Or if you have ideas, message me on discord: kuhaku4941_51790. Synopsis. I'm bad at it, but long story short, an Eldritch mc--not cosmic horror Azathoth lineage or Cthulhu. But average DxD Eldritch which is Trihexa (Mc is a spawn of Trihexa). And he gains sentience during the great war and stuff. (I have no idea of what I'm doing, so please, don't take this fic seriously.) Also extra warning, certain characters might or will be corrupted (mc's work), so if you're nor a fan of it, please exit.

Fall of the Saintess II

Chapter 2: Fall of the Saintess II

Good and evil are duality incompatible with each other, similar as how light is incompatible with the dark.

In addition to the daytime service, the Holy Lady heals the wounds of the injured in the presence of all believers.

The emerald and gentle light, although not literally related to the golden holy light, can heal wounds that would normally take days, weeks or even months to heal.

After discovering the ability this maiden had, the church immediately proclaimed her a godsend daughter...

Using her symbol to widely spread the word, aiming to attract more believers and strengthen faith in the God of the Bible.

However, tonight's scene caused a cognitive collapse for the bishops and gendarmes who are extremely loyal to the church.

Their original teachings are: "The Saints and Saintesss are the chosen child of god, while devils are enemies of god."

And… objectively speaking, they believed that the brilliance of the Saintess should be highly toxic to the devil.

However, that wasn't the case here.

They clearly saw the demon's wound heal.

The blood-stained skin and clothes on the devil indicated that the demon had been seriously injured.

The girl startled by the crowd that suddenly broke in, looked at them in trepidation.

"P-please wait…"

But… the devil saw this as an opportunity and used brute force to further achieve his goal.

"The devil is—"

"Run away!"

"Hurry and call the exorcist!"

"N-no, it's no good, the exorcists are currently not—kuack!"

The devil purposely inflicted severe wounds on the popes and gendarmes present.

Although they had some extraordinary warriors, the vast majority were still ordinary people.

These bishops and gendarmes who arrived are just… ordinary people, with no powers to counter the devil.

The exorcist of the church are currently out on a mission.

The popes and gendarmes lay on the ground, blood trickling from the wounds inflicted by the devil.

The young Saintessess, her expression pained, quickly ran over to heal their injuries.

However—

"Fuck off! You witch who colludes with the devil!"

The harsh and vulgar words from one of the popes drilled into her mind, stunning her for a moment.

She stood alone, looking at the injured people in front of her, who refused her approach despite their wounds, feeling at a loss.

"I... I just want to treat everyone. If you don't deal with such wounds soon…"

"Don't touch me!"

"Witch, stay away from me!"

Pain, amongst many other negative emotions can amplify the dark side of a person's heart.

They had been taught that devils are evil creatures and mortal enemies of God, and their hatred for demons was ingrained deeply.

Although it was difficult to believe that the Holy Lady could heal demons, the facts before them forced them to accept it.

"Everyone… I… It's not like that…"

She tightly squeezed her hands together, but her voice came out timidly.

After a few seconds of deliberation, maybe? She spoke out.

"I'm not..." But her voice trailed off, as timid as always.

Listening to her colleagues, seniors, and those who had once greatly respected her, she felt a sense of alienation.

These past acquaintances now seemed extremely strange.

She had just saved a life.

Before healing him, she had prayed to God, believing that if the healing light worked, it meant God had permitted her actions.

If it caused harm, it meant God hadn't allowed it.

The light had worked, confirming her belief.

But now, she was being reprimanded for her actions—Botherline of currently being hated now.

She opened her mouth to retort but then pursed her lips.

She couldn't bring herself to speak.

"..."

The poor girl stood in place as the uproar attracted more attention.

It didn't take long for the secluded, dim garden to become brightly lit.

Soon after, the young girl was taken away to be dealt with by the higher-ups of the church.

Sure enough, the best way to deal with a good person is to frame them.

Now, others have seen the "Holy Saintess" healing a devil.

This is bound to cause speculation and unease among the people.

It's as absurd as a princess falling in love with an enemy prince in the midst of war.

But this isn't such a fairy tale.

Once exposed, the reputation of the entire church is seriously affected.

The church may even lose a large number of believers, causing further damage to an already unstable Heaven.

If some forces were to add fuel to the fire, saying that "the church is colluding with the devil," wouldn't seem farfetched.

Because of past events, the system created by the Biblical God is now difficult to maintain.

If the basic beliefs supporting the heavenly realm are questioned, the entire heavenly realm could be affected.

Once the heavenly realm is impacted, all parts of the world will be affected, given the numerous believers worldwide.

The church's next step is undoubtedly to hide her and expel her to prevent her presence from adversely affecting Heaven.

Sometime later—rather, after a few minutes…

Inside a separate hall.

Normally, they would have gone straight to the cathedral, but some popes insisted, "We can't allow a witch inside the sanctuary!"

Due to this, they changed locations to another hall.

Like the cathedral, it had a large cross at the forefront.

Several popes and bishops bowed reverently toward the crucifixion.

Behind them stood the equally religious, but worried, girl.

She hung her head low, praying to God and worried about her future.

Hearing a crackling sound, she raised her head slightly to see an elderly man—The Archbishop of the church slowly walking toward her.

In the man's eyes were pity and gentleness; he was the kind old man who had raised her.

The young girl, who still had a glimmer of hope, listened as the old man delivered the ruthless pronouncement of judgment against her.

"From this day forward, Asia Argento will cease to be a Saintess of the Church and will be permanently excommunicated from the Church."

Although she was mentally prepared, hearing the verdict still saddened her.

She bit her lip as her gaze directed downwards.

"Yes... I accept."

The young girl, Asia Argento, reined in her emotions as she rose from the ground, escorted by the gendarmes toward the exit of the hall.

Like a lost soul, she took slow steps toward the exit. But before she left—

"But don't worry, someone will privately escort you away afterward."

Soon, many believers across Europe would hear about this.

If she lingered, some faithful might even hunt her down.

For the old bishop, it was best to get her out of Europe as quickly as possible, at least far away from any countries with supernatural entities.

This was the final thing he could do for the young girl he had raised like his own daughter.

After packing her belongings—only a briefcase with some clothes—she stepped outside her dorm room.

Waiting for her outside, were her fellow nun's who casted glares filled with hatred.

"Tsk!"

"An Holy Saintess healing a devil?"

"No, she's not holy anymore, she has been corrupted by the devil! A witch!"

"I always knew she wasn't what she seemed!"

Under the whispers of the nun, the girl slowly strode away, her head hung low, with teary eyes, with the gendarmes still escorting her.

Heading outside the cathedral, was a car with one of the drivers who was an aspiring bishop under the Arcbishop that raised Asia.

Entering the cat, she looked at the St. Peter for the last time, sadness clouding her features as the car slowly drove away from the cathedral.

After a long journey of four hours, the car arrived at a remote gas station.

"We'll hit the road after refueling," the man said as he got out of the car.

He had seen the girl's face in the rearview mirror and felt a pang of sympathy.

But it was the "higher-ups' command."

No one in the church dared to keep her.

He could only follow the old Archbishop's orders and send the girl as far away as possible—far from any countries or towns with supernatural entities.

A remote village would be ideal.

The man sighed after refueling and headed to the gas station convenience store under Asia Argento's gaze.

She thought he went to get something to eat or to get other essentials for their journey.

But after waiting a long time, no one returned. This made the girl a little puzzled.

Am I being abandoned here? she thought.

However—

Seconds later, a well-dressed black-haired girl in a nun's uniform appeared, knocking on the car window from outside.

"Is this Miss Asia?"

"...." Asia stunned by her appearance slowly nodded as the woman beamed a smile.

"That so? Thank goodness."

"I am the nun responsible for receiving you. The rest of the journey has been arranged by the church."

The woman smiled, appearing harmless.

Seeing the nun in a nun's outfit, Asia didn't think much of it and a reassuring expression appeared on her small cheeks.

Sure enough, God had not abandoned her but had other arrangements.

Extremely devoted to God, Asia did not have the slightest complaint.

She saw all this as a trial from God.

Regaining hope, she resolved not to live up to the Lord's expectations.

But little did she know, these were just the humble fantasies of a young girl.

But unknown to the former Saintessess, just behind the door of the convenience store, blood stained the ground, and the bodies of the bishop and staff lay in disarray.

The one who had done all this was none other than the nun before Asia who had her lips curled backwards.
