Elder Blood Witcher

Most people who die and are confronted with a godlike being like to take the easy route... Not this guy. I have been sitting on this concept for a while and want to see if I can write it, starting with the Witcher then the game Absolver and then onto Darksouls 1. Don't rely on there being consistent updates because its unlikely... If you want to support my work or tip me enough to buy a drink please go here >https://www.p.atreon.com/Nagross Also, if you wanna join my Discord, here's the link : https://discord.gg/mG4vG5SUbF My next work, a Fallout Newvegas Fanfic : https://www.webnovel.com/book/steel-waste_18419577106748205 I don't own the cover art and have no idea who does, so don't sue me I guess? I also don't own, the Witcher, Absolver, DarkSouls or any other games, anime, books or movies written about.

God-Sword?

Thus the blacksmiths got to work, retrieving a heavily reinforced crate from a platform that arrived from a secret entrance in the floor via a hidden button camouflaged on the wall.

All three blacksmiths approached the crate and rested their hands on indentations that looked build for just that. A flash of turquoise light and the sound of metal clanging against metal lead to the lid of the box levitating off of it, revealing the contents to everyone.

...

Mathias "Black shards" he mutters, feeling as if he'd been duped... Wouldn't "God Metal" be like gold or silver?

Andre grabs a few shards and examines them, nodding in satisfaction before walking back to his anvil. "Big lad, you want two hand-axes or one big'un?"

Barnock shrugs, "Whatever you find easier to make, I can use both efficiently."

Andre nods and gathers a bunch of strange, uncommon, and rare metals before dumping them all into a furnace. He pulls out the mixture and dumps it into an ingot mold and puts the subsequent crumbly pile on his anvil, gently hammering and folding it in on itself.

He'd learned this method from the Witchers and Blacksmiths of this world, mixing Dimeritium with other metals had the magical potential of the weapons increased dramatically. And when combined with silver, steel, and a few others, the resulting weapon would be a masterful thing.

After he'd folded the ball of combined metals into an alloy, he shoved it into the furnace again to soften it, waiting until it's red hot before hammering it into the shape of a two-handed axe. It'd be entirely metal which meant that an ordinary person would definitely not be able to wield it, but its strength would be a tier above whatever you could manage with a wooden shaft.

The head was very thick, double-bladed that tapered down into a razor-sharp edge. He hadn't sharpened it yet, as it first needed to temper the blade to harder the metals. He dunks the hot metal in magically altered oil and lets it rest for a couple of minutes, glancing over at what Coaugh and Vamos were doing in the meantime.

Coaugh had gotten to work creating a staff that the wizard had requested, it was the same length of his previous one but made with some white ash tree's that Reima had harvested before leaving Lordran. The tree's themselves were older than Anor Londo, their long lives allowing them to grow stronger, wiser, and more magically powerful. While they weren't able to defend themselves from being harvested, they'd make incredibly powerful weapons when in the right hands.

The wood was split at the top, Coaugh shoving a huge Onyx Gem into it, the tree seemed to come alive for a moment as the splintered strands of wood wrapped themselves around the gem, incasing it tightly before stilling again.

Coaugh then make many small iron rings that he slipped up the base of the staff, each enchanted with strengthening magic and other similar effects.

Once he was done he walked over and passed it to Andre who immediately began enchanting it with the Large Divine Ember. Mathias and Tyrael felt incredible magical power exuding from the Embers, and were baffled when it was dexterously used to envelope the staff... No one except perhaps Mathias or the Arch-Mage Harry could do something like that, are these really blacksmiths?

The onyx flashes with light and turns pure white, glowing intensely with power that seemed to calm those watching.

Andre breathes a sigh of relief and hands the staff to Mathias, "Try it out, I guarantee it'll blow you, and anyone who annoys you away." he says with a grin.

Mathias nods and casts a light spell to get a sense of its power, immediately regretting it when a blinding light filled the room and momentarily stunning him, he's knocked out of his trance by the shouts of pain from Vamos.

Upon turning of the light he could see the skeleton's bones smoking and releasing unnatural black smoke from them.

Vamos "Ya bastard! You tryin' ta kill me?! I felt my bones crumbling when you're usin' that light!" he exclaims, clearly angry.

Mathias looks down at the staff with a neutered look, "Ah, my apologies, I hadn't realised how... Powerful this weapon is." he says, trying to get back on the smiths good side.

Vamos "Hmph, you're lucky I don't tan your hide, wizard. Wouldn't be the first to be sent out of this smithy with shit in their pants."

Mathias nods, "Duly noted."

The blacksmiths continue to work on their requests, Barnock ending up with pitch-black plate armour covering his entire body, the only skin visible being the eyeholes in his helmet.

He was very, very happy with the double-handed axe he was handed, the head of which glowing white when wielded in a similar manner to Mathias staff.

On the topic of Mathias, Coaugh had also made some new robes for him, they resembled the grey ones the Chaos Servants wore, black plate metal addoring the shoulders, hips and other vital areas, the robes are also affixed with a hood that will increase perception while also protecting the users head and concealing their identity.

Last but not least, Tyrael... All three of the Blacksmiths had examined Tyraels weapon, El'druin, and had found that they'd likely not be able to make anything superior without help from Reima himself... It literally contained it's own divinity, making it some sort of Psuedo God. This allowed it to target only the "Unjust", or whatever it deems as such.

However, Tyraels armour could be improved upon, the plates that were comprising his current suit were made from the remains of his angelic form, powerful yes, but not the best that could be made. Fortunately for the former-angel, the military of the Holy Empire's sense of aesthetics matched him perfectly, the blacksmiths being more than well-versed in crafting grey robes and gold armour.

Hope you guys enjoyed the chap, I know some of you find blacksmithing a bit boring but I think adding some context to the items helps flesh them out.
