The Creature spoke its final words, surrendering to the urge to slumber:

I lost everything, but remained here, patiently.

The throne will certainly receive you.

But the question remains...

What do you want, truly?

Light? Dark? Or something else entirely...

the Armored Man's POV:

Betrayal seethed within me. They promised that finding the Throne Room would solve all my woes, but it was all a damned lie.

The Emerald Herald, once a confidante, now felt as distant as a stranger. Her selfish desires eclipsed any care for me. Nashandra, cunning and deceitful, used me as she did King Vendrick. But her treachery met the end of my blade. And Aldia, consumed by his obsession with the crowns, cared naught for my well-being.

Were it not for King Vendrick's aid in obtaining the crowns, madness would have consumed me. Yet, even these crowns offer no cure for the undead curse, merely stalling its advance. Despite scouring this land for a cure, my search proved futile. But if not here, then elsewhere. I refuse to succumb; I will shatter this cursed fate, even if it means tearing the world asunder.

With a heavy sigh, I readied myself for the arduous journey ahead. But first.

All preparations complete, I departed Majula, laden with supplies. The worn ship in the Lost Bastille would serve my purpose, despite its decrepit state.

As the vessel set sail, I closed my eyes, offering a silent prayer for its success. With a surge of relief, I opened them to see the Lost Bastille fading into the distance. A single thought lingered: may our paths never cross again, for all eternity.
