Prologue

I'm Grace Samont, I was just a young college girl minding my own business. I was what you called a Straight-A student. But that all changed when I knew who I really am. There are people around me. The one is making my hair up into a bun while the other decorate my face with these colors that everyone called the make-up.

Another one was tightening the strings of my silk white dress. Its texture feels like I'm in the water, touching my skin ever so softly. This may look beautiful in the eyes of the people but they don't know what I am in.

My eyes so dull and distant but tears slowly fall from my eyes as only a few minutes I'll be married to the person I hate.
