Chapter 12

Remember the part where I said I'd expected Skylar to live in a house because of the good looks of Bea, yeah ,I regretted that immediately she drove into Skylar's home. The place was amazing. The ground on which we stood was made of Terrazzo . Not to talk of the relief architectural design. The building was painted blue and white. Everything was perfectly sculpted. We entered the large space which housed the living room and kitchen. On the walls of the hall hanged pictures of his family. His mom - is a pretty hot chick, his dad - I could see where he got the blessed muscles from and he himself,no comments. Asian as he was, the house had a feel of Asian touch. From the sofa to the design on the walls to the kitchen set.

After we settled, the boys tied aprons and began to work in the kitchen. I must say, with sweat dripping and their shirts hugging them ,they looked appetizing enough. I floated my way through them as they became one with the ingredients. After what seemed to be forever of grating,peeling, baking, sauteing, slicing ,chopping,frying, boiling and any other cooking method that comes to mind,they were done with the course for the night. I couldn't wait to taste what they had prepared. The dishes were neatly arranged on the dining table.I smiled as I prized my eye on the table looking greedy.Skylar caught my eye and chuckled. I couldn't care less when I saw soggy noodles,cold soup, Caesar salad ,sandwiches,lemon meringue pie, poached salmon , milkshake,lemonade, fruit salad, kimchi,steak , red curry and others.

" We've prepared quite a lot. Can we finish them?" AJ asked removing his apron.

" Doesn't matter. The rest can be left over plus we've got snacks which Kathy will be bringing in soon" Josh replied. The mention of her name almost destroyed my want for food. I said almost. I just couldn't look away from the red curry.

" I'm supposed to update my Instagram with three pictures a day according to the contract so I guess all three will come from our meal exhibition. What do you say?" he asked the boys.

" Sure. Your choice" Josh replied.

Skylar clicked some photos. He posted three of them and in the matter of seconds , he'd gotten so many likes. It came along with the bitchy comments modern females gave.

" Guys, I just got a message from Mom. She says she's got a break from her work and should be here around 5" Skylar looked happy.

" You mean to tell me the famous Iseul Su took a leave from fashion design to fly all the way from South Korea to spend the break here in England ?" AJ was astonished. Skylar shrugged and replied.

" Guess she loves me too much "

" We've got about 20 minutes to 5 and Kathy's still not in"Josh spoke.

" The food won't get cold anytime soon. I'm sure we can wait "Skylar gently answered.

" Wait!. What?. But I can't wait. Look at me. I look pale. For the love of food. Spare me. I'd probably be dead again by the time Kathy gets here" I shrieked, earning a ' really ' look from Sky. His arms were folded across his chest.

" Don't be such a drama queen. You literally ate like 2 hours ago". I went mute, sitting on one of the chairs,legs crossed and fuming. Was I supposed to die out of starvation?.

Skylar met the faces of his male companions who stared at him like he'd popped another head.

" One of these days you need to go for a mental checkup" Josh stated.

" I'll pass" he replied.

Speaking of the devil, Kathy came in pulling two extra large suitcases. You'd have thought she changed clothes every millisecond if you saw the bags for yourself. Behind her came a young lady. I could have sworn she looked younger than I. I didn't believe it was she till Skylar called her mother . With her around ,I realized some of us had probably skipped the beauty que. They paid respect to her as I stood there staring. I'd gotten off my chair when she'd entered.

" Sky,she looks divine. Does she use olive oil or something?" I blurted. He looked at me and smiled. She did same. My eye widened when she smiled and tucked her hair. Could she see me?. Sky noticed my expression. He then to looked at his mother who was scanning me like I was under a microscope.

" Mom " he had to call her name five times. She blinked like she'd just come out of a trance and smiled.

" I'm tired. I'll leave you guys to enjoy" she spoke,collected her bags from kathy and climbed up the stairs, disappearing behind the walls.

We all sat around the dinner table. Josh AJ and I at one side Kathy and Sky to the opposite. I put a fork in the salad bowl, earning a smile from Skylar.

" Prayer before meal" he announced. The others closed their eyes whilst I gave the announcer a murderous stare. Seriously, he did that on purpose.

After what took forever the party finally began. I greedily wolfed down the kimchi I'd gotten from AJ's share of the food. Skylar frowned but I cared less.

" God, I wish I can have your mother's petite frame. She's cute" I muttered .

' You'd be able to have that if you stop eating like a horse which I bet my life on that you can't " I'd somehow and unintentionally read Skylar's thoughts.

" How dare you say- I mean think that?. I'm not fat" I was aghast . I threw an invisible salmon at him. He seemed surprised that I'd heard his inner voice but thought better than to speak.

As I sipped on the lemonade,I noticed Cathy's hand brush his thigh. Ask me how I could see from the other side of the table. Trust me, x-ray eyes.

" Her hand touches your body one more time and I swear I'm going to kiss AJ and Josh" I stated. I had no idea why I'd gotten riled up.

" How is it my fault?" Sky whispered

" Did you say something?" Josh asked.Sky shook his head.

I hangrily swallowed some ramen looking at Cathy being flirty and he being perverted by sitting there doing nothing. Like my warning wasn't enough. Although it wasn't directed at her,she accidentally brushed his thigh again. Angry me snapped my chopsticks and slammed it on the table. It visibly shook. Sky got tensed up as the others wondered why the table shook.

My facial expression swapped from angry to extremely sweet with a smile pasted on. The very smiled turned into an evil grin as I slightly tilted my head and walked, standing between AJ and Josh. Gently I sat on Josh, weighing myself on him, knowing very well that hed feel the intensity. I wrapped my arm around his neck and kissed him on the cheek. Josh smiled. I blinked innocently to see Sky's reaction. He'd stiffened.I repeated it with AJ,but kissed him on the fore head, earning a dangerous look from Sky. AJ was all in, smiling.

" What's the smile for?. Guys,am I missing something or this one of your secret codes?" Kathy asked. He duo looked at each other.

" Tell me I'm not the only one who felt that Josh. Fuck, I think I have an erection" AJ muttered. Josh nodded in agreement .

"I have to agree. It felt real .I can almost smell them " Josh added.

" Ew" Kathy gave them a disgusted look and scratched her hair. That did the trick. Skylar uncomfortably got up and coughed.

" I see we are almost done with the food. I'll go bring the ale ". The others nodded. As he got up,I followed him into the kitchen.

" How do you like being provoked?" I asked him. He went mute,opened the fridge ,took out some cans and slammed the door shut. I flinched a little .

" Why the hell did you do that?. What was that for?. Do you know how I felt having to watch you touch someone without being able to do a thing?" he was almost yelling at me.

" Why?. It's my body. I do what I want with it" I hissed.

" Know how I felt?. Hurt" he'd already gulped down a can of beer.

" What do you care?". He was now squeezing the life out of the can. The veins in his wrist threatened to pop out. Damn. Heaven help my soul. He was hot . Angrily,he threw the lifeless can on the ground, killing it all over.

" I care what you do because I li _" he punched the wall behind me, earning himself a cut on his knuckle. Shit. What had I done?. The hell was I trying to do?. I had just played with someone else's emotion. He clenched his fists at his side.

" First aid kit. Where the hell is the first aid box?"

" In the cupboard" he answered unfazed. I felt like slapping him but I'd caused much damage already. I began working on the cut after grabbing the box.

" We'll contact your father tonight " I spoke ,dabbing the cut with cotton, wincing. He nodded.

" Who will you possess?" he asked.

" Just make sure all of them are extremely drunk" I added blowing air on the wound. He nodded again as I put a cute blue and pink colored band on the cut.

He gently called my name and we locked eyes. I could see Sparks and light from no where. Okay I'm over exaggerating. The air was quite romantic until the witch came in.

" You've actually been here for so long the boys decided I should check up on you. And... oh my gosh!" Kathy gasped. " What happened to you?" she neared him, walking through me. If only looks could kill.

" I'm okay " he replied and quickly put his hand behind him. The morale of the little incident had been learnt.

The duo walked out of the kitchen carrying quite a good number of canned drinks. If I ever had a dad and his soul was to see these kids,I'm pretty sure he'd die,get reincarnated into the modern era but still die again after watching them. I shook my head..The shock would be too much. They all aided in clearing the dining table and moved to the living room. Within a few minutes, 16 cans were arranged on the center table, groomed with quite a variety of snacks I couldn't wait to taste. They began drinking, munching as the boys played games whilst prim and perfect cheered them on. I checked the time. Few minutes to 10 and only six cans were left on the table. Yet still they looked like they'd just sipped warm chocolate. Really?. What did it take these people to be knocked out especially Kathy. She was the lady. I had expected her alcohol intake to be little but it was as much as her IQ.

After 10 the empty cans were replaced. The hell?. I sighed at the four who were now watching a fantasy rom com. It couldn't get any worse. The four turned into baby kittens hurdled together. Kathy, given the most attention. I kept looking at the boys and decided to try my luck. I concentrated and tried sitting in the body of Josh. My body directly went out of it. I was confused. He did look like the most vulnerable. I did the same with AJ, trying to possess him. His body literally repelled me. My gaze finally fixated on my arch enemy. I sat by her,watching whilst tapping my fingers like a maniac scientist smiling at the idea of his new invention.

But then how to possess her?. She looked less drunk out of the them all. She also drank the most by far. Vulnerability check was canceled out. Neither was she in a position to allow me possess her as she couldn't even see me. I was down to the last option for possession. I prayed for it to work as I entered her body.

" Sky " I called out. Skylar spat out the drink in his mouth and coughed.Josh and AJ stared at me.

" When did you start calling him this?" Josh wanted to know.

" Kathy,you know only his fans call him that. Right?" AJ added.

I looked at myself.. I had possessed her body. She resisted but it was easier in terms of our spirits syncing. All I had to do was to help Sky and face the consequences later.
