Ethan followed Lord Aldrich through the mansion's opulent corridors, his anticipation mounting with each step. As they approached a set of intricately carved double doors, Lord Aldrich pushed them open, revealing a spacious and lavishly adorned room.

Standing before Ethan was Arthur Lancaster, the son of Lord Aldrich. Ethan couldn't help but be taken aback by the young man's appearance. Arthur had a charismatic aura, with his stylishly tousled black hair that fell effortlessly over his forehead, and his intense black eyes that sparkled with a mischievous glimmer. He had a well-defined jawline and a confident smile that seemed to draw people in.

There was an air of nonchalant charm about Arthur, as if he effortlessly attracted attention wherever he went. His fashion sense was impeccable, dressed in a tailored dark coat that accentuated his lean frame. It was clear that he possessed the confidence and charisma befitting a noble's son.

Arthur's playful grin widened as he observed Ethan. "Well, well, who do we have here? A handsome young man in our midst?"

Ethan returned the grin, albeit with a touch of skepticism. "Yeah, that's me, Ethan's the name."

Lord Aldrich stepped forward, placing a hand on Arthur's shoulder. "Arthur, this is Ethan. He's got some fire in him, just like you. I thought you two might get along."

Arthur extended a hand toward Ethan, his eyes gleaming with curiosity. "Pleasure to meet you, Ethan. I can sense an adventure brewing already."

Ethan shook Arthur's hand, noting the firm grip. "Likewise, Arthur. So, you're heading to the capital for the Eldoria Academy of Magic?"

Arthur chuckled, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Yes, indeed. But don't let the magic fool you. I'm more interested in the enchantment of life itself. Magic is just a tool, my friend."

Ethan raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Arthur's nonchalant attitude. "So, you're a bit of a playboy, huh?"

Arthur laughed heartily. "Well, I do appreciate the finer things in life, Ethan. But beneath all the charm and laughter, I strive to be a good person and make a positive impact in the world. Life is too short to be confined by expectations."

Lord Aldrich observed the exchange with amusement, pleased to see the rapport forming between the two. "Since you're both going to the Capital, why don't you travel together"

Ethan glanced at Lord Aldrich, curiosity piqued by his words. "So, you're interested in us traveling together?"

Lord Aldrich nodded, his expression sincere. "Indeed, Ethan. I see great potential in the bond that could form between you and Arthur. You both possess unique qualities that can complement and support each other on your respective journeys."

Ethan's brow furrowed slightly. "But why? What interest do you have in our companionship?"

Lord Aldrich's eyes sparkled with a mix of wisdom and anticipation. "Ethan, I believe that the experiences you'll encounter on your way to the capital will shape your character and forge unbreakable bonds and I would also prefer if Arthur was around someone his age. The world is vast and full of wonders, but it can also be unforgiving."

Arthur interjected with a grin. "Besides, Ethan, it'll be more fun to tackle the challenges together. Two heads are better than one, as they say."

Ethan's skepticism slowly gave way to a sense of intrigue. He hadn't expected Lord Aldrich to take such an interest in his journey or to consider his partnership with Arthur. Perhaps there was more to this small town and its people than he had initially thought.

After a moment of contemplation, Ethan nodded in agreement. "Alright, Lord Aldrich. If you believe this will be beneficial for both of us, then I'm willing to give it a shot. I can use all the help I can get."

Lord Aldrich's smile widened. "Excellent! I have faith that your journey together will be transformative".
