First round

Demian contemplated the type of weapon he should create and decided on a sword and shield, a combination of offense and defense that allowed him to utilize his skills effectively. He had to imagine the perfect size and appearance for these weapons, and after a couple of minutes, they materialized.

The shield was of medium size, approximately 70 cm in diameter, with a smooth, round wooden surface. It was lightweight and had a comfortable grip, fitting perfectly around his hand. The round shape allowed for quick maneuvering and easy blocking. A simple, practical design.

His sword, a duel-edged blade, was equally well-balanced and suitable for his fighting style. It was approximately 90 cm in length, with a sturdy hilt and a gleaming steel blade that was not too heavy but offered precision and maneuverability.

As he examined his new weapons, Demian couldn't help but appreciate their perfect fit. They felt like an extension of his body, and he was ready to put them to the test.

He checked the countdown for the first round, and when it began, two goblin-like creatures appeared on the opposite side of the island. These small, green-skinned creatures stood at around 1 meter in height, wielding small daggers. Demian recognized them as goblins.

With a quick assessment, Demian used his Identification skill:

"Goblin Rank G, level 1.

He didn't underestimate them, acknowledging their apparent weakness but not letting his guard down.

When the countdown reached zero, he sprang into action. Rushing the first goblin, he swung his sword. The goblin managed to dodge the attack, but the other one lunged at him. Demian blocked with his shield, and the goblin's dagger got stuck in the wooden surface. In that moment, Demian seized the opportunity and thrust his sword through the goblin's throat, ending its life instantly.

The system immediately rewarded him:

"30 experience points for killing a level 1 Goblin plus 1 shop point."

As he read the notification, the remaining goblin took advantage of his distraction and attacked. It inflicted an injury to Demian's leg. Cursing, Demian retaliated swiftly, killing the goblin with a fatal strike.

Again, the system provided him with his rewards:

"30 experience points for killing a level 1 Goblin plus 1 shop point."

For successfully clearing the first round, he was additionally awarded:

"+5 shop points."

Demian took a moment to catch his breath, assessing the minor wound to his leg. This encounter served as a stark reminder that even the simplest foes could pose a threat. He was ready for the subsequent challenges that the tutorial had in store.
