The Werewolf Pursuit: A Tale of the Night

Legend has it that this area is inhabited by werewolves who come out at night to prey on unsuspecting victims, often attacking from behind.

One night, Yang Jiayi was walking back home. In a secluded area, he noticed a figure in black closely tailing him. Yang Jiayi was taken aback and hastened his steps, but the person in black seemed to quicken their pace as well, sticking to him like glue.

At that moment, another figure in black appeared ahead, moving at a steady pace, always maintaining a slight lead over Yang Jiayi.

Feeling even more anxious, sweat began to bead in Yang Jiayi's palms. As he approached the person ahead, they uttered in a low, raspy voice, "There's a werewolf behind you. Don't look back, or you'll die."

Terrified, Yang Jiayi dared not turn around and continued moving forward. After a while, he realized that the footsteps behind him had ceased. Relieved, he said, "Thank you" to the person ahead.

Out of habit, Yang Jiayi glanced back, but in the blink of an eye, the person in black lunged, sinking their teeth into his neck.
