Musician's Day Off

Mr. Hope woke up in his usual room in the 'SAO Inn' on main street Altissia. He was a musician before coming to this Origin City and is still one today...

The melding of his talent into playing these novel instruments and instrumental pieces taken from Raven's worlds has brought him stardom, the likes of which he never expected.

He even completed an Altissian Acheviement weeks back allowing him to manage "The Eolian" theater, a small music-focused venue on the corner street near his inn. He and the guild he started, the Art's Guild, has now taken residence there and hosts a show each night with the largest attendance being on weekends.

Today though, he gave each of his members as well as the staff the day off and is going around Altissia touring once again as many new additions have heated up the forums.

'Man that fire lord dude was no joke...what a lucky little monk...' thought Hope as he left the theater which was screening the final episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender yet again, a series he never got around to finishing until today.

He then stops by his favorite eating venue, 'The Cafeteria', as he is anti-social to the bones and dislikes people. His guild only functions because he himself is only the figurehead, while the vice-leader is the glue that holds everyone together. The only time his shy personality doesn't ruin things for him is while playing music...his perception of the audience drifts away as he sells his soul to the instruments while playing, his shyness and timid nature sold with his soul....this feeling is what drew him to music.

When leaving the eatery, he was deciding on where to go next as the options were endless, and after narrowing it down to either Heaven's Arena or the Arcade, he finally decided to go play games.... which was more his speed.

I walk into the closest arcade to my Inn and see the attending Seraph waving me over...this place is quite empty since most are either diving into the new world TSW or watching people do so.

"Hello Sir, I'm a big fan of yours, you're the most talented human I've ever seen and I look forward to this month's testing...I'm actually going up for my wings then, I play the trumpet..." the Seraph spoke quickly in an excited tone, finally looking away shyly when she realized the blabbering escaping her lips...

Having never interacted well with people, I responded by stuttering "No-no n....no need to be nervous miss, I'm sure a talented young lady like yourself will do fine...you have my best wishes on getting your wings..."

She smiled back brightly and asked me what I was looking to play here and said that she would personally cover all fees...

I ended up sitting in front of the newest addition to the arcade, which was called "The Game Suite" which only required the player to put on a headset and lay back in a massage chair. You could control your game avatar with your mind...

I quickly tried my best to imitate my looks onto a 'bubbly-geometric-themed' avatar before picking between one of the five games available. Apparently, these are brand new games never before invented, Mr. Oscars didn't take credit so I can only assume it was either him or one of his team members...assuming he has a team.

They're not limited to this game either, as I've seen many forum posts about these games being recreated in BSU and played by individuals rather than their avatars in a game.

The five options were "bowling, tennis, boxing, golf, and baseball"...

I quickly read over their descriptions and decided that I would play...well, all of them!
