CHAPTER 189 – ALPHA EXPERIMENT: VALERIE TEPES

I had transformed into a Crystal Sapien, the reason is simple, the Crystal Sapien is a life form capable of absorbing energy and returning it to the caster and technically magic is energy, so it should work, the problem is that I'm quite weak and I don't know if it will work, most likely in my maximum condition if it worked, but I'm very tired and can barely stand.

The huge magic sphere was just a few inches away from me, so I put my hands forward and stopped the sphere with my hands and began to absorb its energy.

I thought it was going to be difficult because of my current condition, but it turned out to be quite the opposite because as I absorbed the energy, my body was recovering and all the energy I had lost during the fight was also recovering, my strength was returning to how it was at the beginning of the fight and soon, my strength was completely recovered.

I didn't know why all my power had regenerated if the power of the ancestor and mine were on par, maybe it's a characteristic of the Crystal Sapien that I don't understand, but I have no idea and I don't feel like finding out right now, so I continued to absorb the energy in front of me little by little.

On the other hand, the vampire ancestor was smiling, he knew that the dirty devil was trying to stop his attack, but it was impossible because that attack was not only made with his own power, but with an amulet that allowed him to save power and then release it in a pinch.

But he soon realized something and stared at Kazuya, which had taken on a very strange form for him, now his body looked like it was made of a normal pink crystal and stone, but the strangest thing is that his whole body was glowing a rainbow color, it was quite pretty if you looked at him well.

"You are not a devil! What are you?" – asked the ancestor with fear.

He had never seen such a being, and everyone was afraid of the unknown, whether human or not.

"I am the one who will kill you, I will kill you to avenge all those you captured to experiment on them, I will soothe their souls so that they can finally rest knowing that you are dead" – I said seriously.

I don't even want to imagine how many people this man kidnapped, no... vampires in general, so, even if it's a little, I'll kill this guy, so those souls can rest in peace.

A large amount of rainbow-colored energy was directed directly towards the ancestor, it was half as big as the previously released sphere, as fast as lightning and very pretty.

"Fuck you, I'm not going to die today!" – exclaimed the ancestor.

Then he put both his hands forward and tried to stop the attack by himself, but he couldn't hold on for long because the energy was too powerful and in his state he couldn't stop it, maybe if he was fully recovered he could stop it, but in his situation it was impossible and he was fully impacted with Kazuya's energy, completely disintegrating.

Seeing how he had disintegrated, I detransformed and returned to my human form.

"Kazuya!" – said the girls.

Quickly Elize and Gasper came over and checked my body for wounds.

"Are you all right?" - asked Ophis.

"Yes, thanks to the energy he gave me, I was able to recover my energy almost completely" - I nodded.

That's right, that's why I kept some energy, so now I'm a little tired but not too tired.

"I am glad and congratulations on your victory" - said Ophis.

I smiled and stroked her head causing Ophis to close her eyes while she was smiling.

Normally she was very quiet, but seeing Kazuya previously in that state... It made her very frightened.

As far as I could see, some of those things were once people, human or not, I don't know, but now they didn't look like it because some were so disfigured that it was impossible to know what it was, others lacked limbs and others simply kept their whole bodies but were dead.

"This is horrible..." - said Elize terrified.

She couldn't believe the cruelty of vampires, she couldn't believe they could commit these crimes against nature.

"That's what these bastards are like" - Gasper said angrily.

"But I don't get it, why do all this? Why commit so many disgusting crimes?" – I asked in astonishment.

Even I was frightened by the state these corpses were in.

"The power, they only seek power" - Gasper said.
