Chapter [81]

Riser rose from the couch, feeling urgency pulsing in his veins. He needed to act quickly to disrupt the course of the plot that threatened his carefully laid plans. With determined steps, he left the mansion and headed for the large outdoor grounds where his Peerage was training.

Upon arriving there, Riser observed his subordinates in full training, each striving to improve their skills to the fullest. His gaze landed on Yubelluna, who was engaged in a fierce fight with Tsubaki.

"Yubelluna," called out Riser, his voice cutting through the tranquil air of the training.

Yubelluna immediately noticed Riser's presence and halted her fight, quickly making her way towards him.

"What do you desire, Riser-sama?" Yubelluna asked, her voice respectful and attentive as she approached her master.

"Come with me," said Riser, extending his hand to Yubelluna.

Yubelluna promptly accepted Riser's outstretched hand, surprised by her master's sudden invitation. Together, they made their way back inside the mansion.

Riser led Yubelluna to the couch in the living room, where they sat down side by side.

"I want to organize a party for the young heirs of the 72 houses of the underworld," announced Riser, his voice firm and determined.

Yubelluna looked at Riser, surprised by her master's unexpected proposal.

"A party, Riser-sama?" she asked, her curiosity evident in her voice.

"Yes," replied Riser, his voice calm and confident as he settled into the couch.

"I see, you will want to celebrate our future victory against Tannin," commented Yubelluna, crossing her legs and offering a confident smile.

Riser shook his head. "No, the party should take place before the Rating Game."

"Hmm, before?" questioned Yubelluna, with a curious air. "May I know the reason?"

"Nothing in particular," replied Riser, smiling, "just make it happen!"

"Yes, Riser-sama," agreed Yubelluna, "3 days is enough time to organize the party and send out the invitations. Is there any specific detail about the party?"

Riser pondered for a moment, thinking about the details of the party.

"Only the heirs and the queens of their Peerages may attend," he decided, his voice reflecting his determination.

Yubelluna nodded, making a mental note to ensure that only the right people were invited to the party.

"Understood, Riser-sama," she said, getting up from the couch. "I will start the preparations immediately."

Riser nodded, feeling satisfied with the progress of his plans.

A little while after Yubelluna left the room, Sona descended the stairs with slightly wet hair, looking at Riser with curiosity. She noticed Riser's confident gaze and couldn't help but smile lightly.

"What's up, dear?" asked Riser, with a convinced expression. "Impressed by my beauty?"

Sona rolled her eyes, amused by her husband's self-confidence.

"Narcissistic and bipolar," she commented, leaning on the back of the couch.

Riser rolled his eyes at Sona's observation.

"Bipolar?" he asked, pretending to be offended. "May I know the reason for 'bipolar'?"

Sona laughed softly, shaking her head with a amused expression.

"When I went upstairs to take a shower, you looked worried," she explained, sitting on the couch opposite Riser. "And now you're even joking with me."

Riser made a sad face, placing a hand on his chest as if wounded.

"Does my happiness bother you?" he asked, with a sarcastic tone.

Sona laughed again, shaking her head in disbelief.

"You know that's not it," she replied, her voice soft and gentle. "It's just that you seemed so serious before, and now you're acting as if you didn't have a care in the world."

Riser nodded, understanding his wife's perspective.

"I was just thinking about some matters related to our future plans," he admitted, his expression becoming a bit more serious again. "But now I've decided that I won't let anything ruin our mood."

Sona smiled, feeling relieved to see Riser's renewed determination.

"That's right," she agreed, placing a comforting hand on Riser's arm.

Riser intertwined his fingers with Sona's, looking at her with a captivating smile. "You should choose a beautiful dress for the party," he suggested, his voice soft and persuasive.

Sona arched an eyebrow, a slight smile playing on her lips. "What party?" she asked, her curiosity piqued by Riser's sudden suggestion.

"A party I'm going to throw for the young generation of devils," explained Riser, his expression radiant. "It's happening in three days."

"Before the Rating Game?" Sona questioned, releasing Riser's hand and crossing her arms. "Tannin could see that as a provocation."

"I don't care," replied Riser, standing firm in his decision. "I want a party, and I will have a party."

Sona sighed, resigning herself to her husband's determination. "As you wish," she said, looking away for a moment. "Can I personally invite Rias? She's so sad about Gasper's kidnapping."

"Do as you please," replied Riser, his indifference evident in his voice.

Sona got up from the couch, thanking Riser with a warm smile. "Thank you, Riser. I'll call Tsubaki outside to go with me."

Riser nodded, his expression serious as he reinforced the instructions. "Don't forget to tell her that only the Queens can attend as companions to the party."

Sona nodded, leaving the room to find Tsubaki.

Sona left the mansion with firm steps, the gentle wind swaying her hair as she headed outside where Tsubaki was training. Spotting her queen, Sona waved to get her attention.

"Tsubaki!" called out Sona, her voice full of enthusiasm.

Tsubaki turned to Sona, a bright smile lighting up her face as she saw her approaching.

"Sona-sama, what can I do for you?" asked Tsubaki, her expression respectful.

"Let's visit Rias," said Sona, her voice gentle and warm. "I need to talk to her about something important."

Tsubaki promptly nodded, ready to follow her mistress's instructions.

"Of course, Sona-sama," she replied, taking a step forward to accompany her.

Sona led Tsubaki back to the mansion, where she immediately began to search for the phone to call Rias.

"I'll call Rias to let her know about our visit," explained Sona, as she dialed Rias' number.

Meanwhile, Tsubaki watched silently, her expression calm as she waited for Sona's instructions.
