Back at Kyoto

"Mou, master, couldn't you be much more gentle to me? I'm still the princess of Himeji Castle you know..." Hime pouted as I dressed up.

"But you liked being treated that way though," I remembered her screaming.

"But still! I need to be treated appropriately." She said while blushing.

"Heh, whatever." As I left her room.

"Good morning master." Sakuya greeted me and I did the same as well.

"Did you enjoy your night master?" She asked seriously.

"Yes, very." I sounded like I was joking, though I did enjoy every moment of it.

"Is that soo..." She nodded before muttering. "So when's my turn?"

"Huh?"

"When's my turn master?" She moved closer to me.

'She's acting like a yandere.' I was worried because I didn't know what anime or game she came from. Not to mention she's still stronger than me.

"Maybe when I come back from my trip?" I said

"Then promise me." She raised her pinky finger.

"Alright." I reciprocated by closing it with my own.

"Heheheh-" She started giggling ominously.

After I left my house I headed back to Kyoto to ask Yasaka for a little favor before heading to the west.

"Oh, you're back here early Vile." She noticed me arriving.

"Well, I just want to ask you have yokai that can be turned into a shikigami," I said.

"Oh is that so? What do you need them for?" She curiously asked.

"I want to try exorcising some Yokai, to see if I could become a shikigami summoner," I asked. It took a lot of guts to ask a Yokai leader for a Yokai that you could exorcise.

"Well, there are some Yokai that are imprisoned. Are you okay with those?" She asked cautiously as most of the imprisoned ones needed you to be on guard.

"Yes. That would be nice." As she led me to the prison.

In the prison there were a lot of weird-looking Yokai, most were weak and there were little strong ones.

"Choose whoever you like." Yasaka looked at me. As we walked around.

"I can just choose any?" I looked back at her, how can she just let me have some?

"Yes. They're all going to be executed later on either way, so you exorcising them wouldn't matter nonetheless." Yasaka said.

"Is that so... Then don't mind if I do." I looked around to find a Yokai that interested me.

Hmm? Most of them are so weak there are only 4 Yokai that caught my attention.

"What is that Yasaka?" I pointed at the monkey-like yokai.

"That's a Satori. Be careful around it." Yasaka warned me.

"Why?" I asked curiously.

"Because it can read your thoughts. Because of that, it used its ability to read the minds of, some members of the Doumon and Shinra clan and gave their information to their enemies so they could have a reason to fight each other, because of that leak it made them complain to us. To prevent them from getting a reason to fight us Yokai." She sighed.

"So you must've sent this guy into here to calm those guys."

"Yeah."

"I'll take this one then. It's ability seems useful." As I moved towards the sealed monkey.

"Monke" The satori said as it read my mind.

'Say this lmao.' I thought.

"Say this lmao.' The satori said.

"Wait this guy's the real deal." Satori as I confirmed its ability as the monkey grinned.

"Try to read my mind again, and I'll kill you." I threatened it, as on second thought this guy might be annoying.

"!!!" The monkey was alarmed with my threat, as it tried to get away from me.

*Purifying Flames*

My Cursed Inferno slowly burned the monkey as it shrieked loudly, which made Yasaka enter the room.

I restrained the monkey with my chain of a thousand miles to prevent it from struggling around.

"Is this how you usually exorcise?" She asked me.

"It's my first time exorcising on turning Yokai into a shikigami." I admitted that this was my first ritual.

"Uh-huh, let me help you." Yasaka felt my 'exorcism' was sloppy and wasn't done properly like a proper exorcist.

30 minutes later as I was finally getting the hang of exorcising a shikigami.

"You're a fast learner, honey." She praised me.

"Now which one do you want?"

"Hmmm, tell me about this one." I pointed at the red-haired person.

"That one is an ogre Vile." She answered.

"Ogre eh... He doesn't seem to look like the ones I initially depicted." I spoke in amusement.

"Well, this one is special per se. As this one is the few ogres that have become too strong due to it, being able to control flames." Yasaka said.

"If it's special then, why is it here? Shouldn't he be celebrated for being built differently?" I asked in confusion.

"Every Yokai in this prison has a reason, and that reason is that this one did, that it attempted to slaughter his kin in madness." She answered.

'So an Itachi wanna be.' I thought.

"How did he do it?" I asked a stupid question.

"..." "He's adept at using a katana as he used to train in a dojo and coupled with his ability to control the flame, he sliced and burned some of the ogres." She explained briefly.

"Last question about this one. How strong is his flame?" I asked as Yasaka seemed to regard this guy's flame like it was really dangerous.

"Its heat is twice hotter than that of an ordinary fox flame, though not hotter than mine. It's hotter than the majority of the foxes present in this current era."

With that interesting answer, I immediately exorcise the ogre.

"Tsk, now you're taking orders from a human. Yasaka!" The ogre roared at the both of us, as I continued the ritual.

"Gaauughh!!! Damn you human. If you want me to be your shikigami you must defeat me in a duel!" Hearing his words I stopped the ritual.

"Then come at me ogre." I taunted it.

The ogre charged at me, as it tried to grapple me.

I slapped him away, causing him to fly toward the wall knocking him out.

"..." Yasaka and I looked at each other in confusion.

"Is that it?" I looked at the unconscious ogre.

"I believe so..." Yasaka said. We proceeded with the shikigami ritual because it was a waste of time if we waited for it to wake up.

....

"Alright is there any more you want?" Yasaka asks.

"There are 2 left... Those two." I pointed at the two large snakes. I picked those as they looked really strong.

"Uhh, I don't think it's a good idea to choose those two honey." She looked concerned when I pointed at the snakes.

"Why?" I asked.

"It's because those snakes are the few spawns of Yamata no Orochi an eight-headed dragon, which was sealed by Susanoo-no-Mikoto."

"A dragon..." That's perfect since I'm a Sea King Dragon slayer.

"Let's get to it." I insisted.

"Alright. But if things don't seem to be fine we'll exclude those. Okay?" Yasaka was careful about dealing with anything related to Orochi.

"Okay okay." As I entered the cell of the two snakes.

"By the way be careful of the venom and flame that it spits out." Yasaka reminded me, which I nodded.

*slither noises*

*Sea King Dragon's Aqua Surge*

A pillar of water shot under one of the two snakes.

Snake 2 who dodged the move, spit out a green liquid which is the venom that Yasaka was talking about. I was tempted to test out my poison durability but decided to pussy out that because I wonder if it damages the soul as well.

*Sea King Dragon's Geyser Blast*

A blast of water erupted from the ground as it made the snake 1 bleed from Its scales.

Snake 1 tried to spit his fire, but before it could I threw a water bomb inside its mouth and made it collapse from the pressure inside its innards.

Snake 2 tried sneaking behind me while I was occupied with Snake 1, it spewed out its venom toward me.

*Inner Thunder*

A wave of violent thunder immediately released from my body, as it blasted away the incoming venom along with snake 2 paralyzing the snake.

"I guess that's one way to exorcise." I was conflicted as to whether to make them into a material to refine into my body or be my Pokémon as they might grow stronger later on.

"So let's start the ritual?" Yasaka waited for my answer.

"Alright."
