DxD: Mechanic's Scrapyard

A street rat with an uncanny affinity for machines reincarnates into a world he, now she, has no knowledge of. Being a child again in the wrong gender at that was a bit weird, but that was nothing compared to finding out what sort of beings she was now living amongst. She shrugged her shoulders "Well as long as they don't mess with my scrapyard." --- Author Note: Just a disclaimer for those who don't like OP MC's, she will be pretty OP and I don't really like situations where stories forces the MC to go against someone they literally have no chance of winning against. For those curious about Romance? I don't know, pretty much nothing is planned, however if I do decide to try, the love interest will also be female. The Cover picture is Jona from Alchemy Stars.

Chapter 28 - A Super-class?

The next day Koko was walking out of the room the shield core and the QAA was located dusting off her hands as she hummed. She had spent the morning partially connecting the QAA and the dimension she made to strengthen the shield using the excess mana it would generate. Basically creatures that entered the space would have their mana regenerate to 99.9% full, the last 0.1% being siphoned into the QAA, though it would cut off if the source engaged into a fight.

As she was about to close the door, the QAA suddenly gained a slight dark-purple glow as the quantity of the energy exploded in size for a few seconds before it settled down, though still growing at an incredible rate.

Koko blinked as she tilted her head, walking a few circles around the setup to make sure nothing was malfunctioning. She scratched her head before eventually shrugging and walked out of the room, closing the door behind her.

---

Koko emerged from one of the scrap piles as she stretched before walking towards Beo, jumped on top of it's head and sat down.

"Any problems Beo?" Koko asked curiously as she started patting it's head.

Beo let out a huff through it's nose as it mentally sent a command to the sunglasses, a holographic window appearing in front of Koko a few moments later.

[Super-class: 1?

Satan-class: 0

Ultimate-class: 4

High-class: 26

Mid-class: 56

Low-class: 132]

"Oooh~" Koko's eyes sparkled as they locked onto the the first row of the statistics.

"There's already a creature in the Super-class? Why is it a question mark though?" Koko mumbled excitedly and then in slight confusion as she scrambled off of Beo and jumped down to the ground before opening a portal in front of her.

"I'm gonna go check it out, see ya later Beo!" She quickly waved behind her before she ran inside, the portal closing behind her.

Beo looked on as it's mother entered the portal and shrugged slightly before it saw someone approaching the scrapyard and narrowed it's eyes.

---

Koko appeared on the cliff she was on yesterday before doing a gesture with her hand making multiple holograhpic windows appear in the air around her. Her eyes darted around as she dismissed most of them with a wave before she brought one displaying a map to the front of her and enlargened it. Looking at the red spot that appeared in one of the forest areas after she made quick search, she brought her hand up to her eyes to shield them from the sun and looked around for a bit.

A few moments later her eyes locked onto one of the forests and looked back at the map and then nodded to herself. She bent her knees slightly before she jumped, disappearing into the clouds.

---

Ophis was walking around in the separate dimension she had found herself inside after she stepped through the portal. She had seen a few other animals and beasts occasionally but they bolted in the other direction as soon as she approached their general vicinity. She had also received some information when she entered and she was curious about how powerful 'Mother' was. Maybe they could help her kick Great Red out from the dimensional gap?

As she was walking through one of the forests strewn throughout the dimension, she suddenly heard a loud yell of what she thought was excitement from above her and looked up, seeing a human quickly falling down towards the ground a few meters in front of her.

She tilted her head as the human impacted the ground with a loud sound of the dirt breaking as a light layer of dust flew into the air. A few seconds later a tall red-headed female human stood up from the crater coughing slightly before waving away the dust and started looking around before locking onto her figure and tilting her head.

"Did the entrance openers malfunction? Or maybe stronger creatures turns humanoids at some point? Will Beo get a humanoid form later? But I don't wanna~, it's so cute like this-"

Ophis looked on blankly as the human started mumbling to herself, walking around in circles as she scratched her head with a complicated expression on her face.

Ophis tilted her head, she didn't understand most of what the human was talking about and was a bit confused.

A few seconds later as Ophis was watching the human her pupils suddenly dilated and her nose twitched slightly as she quickly walked over and grabbed the human's pant leg making her stop.

"Huh?" Koko emerged from her thoughts and looked down seeing the blackhaired girl holding onto her pants.

"What is it?" Koko asked as she tilted her head in confusion, maybe she wanted to get out? The entrances were supposed to only be visible to animals, beasts and similar creatures in general but she hadn't seen a humanoid one before that wasn't a youkai, however she didn't feel anything resembling what Okita's youkai were using to attack her back then coming from the girl. Now that she thought about it, she had a slight feeling of familiarity when she tried feeling her aura.

Ophis ignored the question and started climbing up Koko's body, eventually ending up on her back with her arms reaching over Koko's shoulders and put her head in the crook of Koko's neck as her nose twitched again.

This human carried the scent of Void, Limitlessness and Nothingness on her body, however the aspects were still very very young, having barely grown for what she felt like was a few years at most.

Ophis' body relaxed slightly as a foregin feeling emerged from her chest, the feeling of wanting to protect and nurture. It wasn't very strong yet, however for Ophis it might as well have been a bright sun appearing amongst the black nothingness of apathy she often felt covering her feelings and instincts as a dragon, both of which now latched onto the feelings of protectiveness that suddenly sprouted strengthening them further.

"Hey, are we fighting? You have to tell me first, I wasn't prepared! This doesn't count." Koko pouted as she crossed her arms in front of her.

Ophis' blank face lightened up slightly as she brought one of her hands to the top of Koko's head and started patting it lightly.

"Child."

A middle-aged man with black hair and dark blue eyes wearing a fedora and a long coat stood in the abandoned church as he looked around sternly at the stray exorcists walking around. They were currently stationed in Kuoh originally on the orders of Azazel-sama to monitor a dormant sacred gear wielder, however Kokabiel-sama had given them new orders to exterminate the host.

Raynare had started with her 'genius' plan to seduce and then kill the target which she was currently working on, meanwhile Kalawarner and Mittelt were just lazing around. Not to mention the stray exorcist Kokabiel-sama had specifically placed on their team had suddenly up and left without a word.

Dohnaseek emerged from his thoughts as the doors to the church were pushed open and he heard a familiar voice cursing up a storm making him look over with a frown.

"Where have you be-" Dohnaseek stopped his incoming rant as he looked over the person that walked in. His previous white hair had turned a glaring pink color and his eyes had what looked to be massive wings of pink extending backwards painted on, his face set into a fierce scowl.

The scene stilled as they looked at each other.

"Why are you pi-"

"Shut the fuck up!"
